Buffy has he first date since coming to sunnydale, with a shy, poetry reading boy named Owen. Sadly at the time the Order of Aureluis has arrived which can mean nothing good. Prophecies begin to abound about a disciple of the Masters called the Annointed One. Buffy tries to balance her social life, competing with Cordelia for Owen, and her slaying duties. When events begin to occur that are precursors to the Annointed One's arrival this becomes even harder. Can she manage to figure out who the Annoited One is and stop him and keep her potential boyfriend from getting hurt in the crossfire? And will the guy like her once he gets a little bit caught up in it all or will he like the danger too much?
