Buffy realizes that the now evil Angel still has access to her house, because she invited him in. She discovers this when he leaves a charcoal drawing of her asleep on her pillow. Jenny offers up a spell that should bar him from her house, Willows, and anywhere else they no longer wish him to be welcome. Jenny tries to make amends with Giles and Buffy by working on a translation of a spell to return Angel's. She obtains the necessary Orb of Thesaly and develops a computer program to do the translating. Buffy ponders telling her mother about her slaying and Angel, but decides it would be better to tell her mother that he is an old boyfriend who is stalking her. Buffy realizing that Giles and Jenny still have feelings for each other and tells Giles he need not stay away from Jenny out of loyalty to her. He and Jenny decide to give it another try. Jenny manages to translate the program to return Angel's soul, but Angel finds out about it destroys a copy of the spell and kills her for her efforts. A backup copy is still, however, wedged between a desk and a table. Angel leaves the body in Giles' apartment and nearly kills him, but Buffy saves him.
