Angel & Giles discover a prophecy that the Annointed One is going to lead Buffy to the Master. Once there she will be killed by the Master and he will free himself from the hellmouth.Buffy overhears their discussing this and decides she no longer wants to be the slayer, she wants to retire and live out a long life. This proves difficult, for the Mast sends some goons to the school to kill some students as a message to her. Cordelia and Willow discover the bodies and are traumatized by the incident. Buffy realizing it is up to her to keep her friends and family safe decides to fulfill her destiny whatever it may be. Donned in the prom dress her mom bought her she finds the Annointed One and lets him lead her to the Master. Will he indeed kill her? Will she be able to stop the opening of the hellmouth? Will she finally defeat the Master?
