In this episode its Willow's turn to try her hand at a love that could be doomed (or rather damned, quite literally). Giles also has his turn at meeting a woman who could be the love of his life, computer teacher Jenny Calendar. We start out with the library scanning books onto computers. One of Giles, books, which should never be read because it contains the soul of a demon, inadvertently gets scanned and the trouble starts from there. The scanning, technically, read the book and thus the demon was released...onto the world wide web. At the same time Willow makes a love connection with someone she meets online. Buffy and Xander are suspicious of this , and with good reason. For could it ever just be coincidence. Things heat up when some students start acting strange and one commits suicide. Trying to uncover why and finding the demon could get them all killed. [What a shock, lives in danger? (joking) ] Could all these things be connected, hmmm...could be. One thing is for sure they have to get the demon back into the book, and they may need the help of, self-proclaimed, Techno Pagan Jenny to do it.
