This is a view of the Eta Carinae
Supernova Remnant located in the southern polar region.
Ektar 1000 film was used to record
its distinct red nebulosity (flower-shape structure)
This was taken with the Olympus OM-1
SLR camera with 50mm f1.8 Zuiko lens.
A 5 minute exposure. The camera was
guided piggybacked on a German-equatorial
mounted Celestron Newtonian telescope
at Batu Layar Beach in Peninsula Malaysia.
