This is the region between the sting
of Scorpius and Sagittarius constellations.
At the centre lies M7, an open
cluster. The stellar nebulosity seen surrounding
the cluster is actually the Milky
Way. Note the dust lanes within.
To the left of it is a small red glow
of the Lagoon Nebula.
This view was taken with the Olympus
OM-1 SLR camera with
The camera was guided piggybacked
on a German-equatorial mounted
Celestron Newtonian telescope at Batu
Layar Beach in Peninsula Malaysia.
