TOMES OF AVALON
As you walk along the decorative panels of the corridor that lead to the library, a marble arch frames the interior of the ivory and ebony room that contains the many titles and subjects that Avalon is famous for.
From herbalism to prediction from the stars, healing doctrines to water dowsing, every volume known on the subjects of what many Men would term 'supernatural' is here either as a well-transcribed copy or in all its glorious original form.
As you step in, the time-soaked volumes with their distinguishable aged-paper smell overwhelms you a little. Steadying yourself, you survey your task at hand with a little wince.
It won't be easy but it'll be worth it. You hope. Putting a little manufactured step into your gait, you climb onto the first ladder.
You realise though that the library is under some slight reorganising and the only shelf that seems to be accessible is the one on the personal contributions of The Lady of the Isle herself. You don't want to seem rude but since it's available, you can't help but take a peek ...
