CAESAR'S PAGE
My name is Caesar "Loftus" Symmans-Leigh and I was born on
27th January, 2001. I live in Auckland, NZ with my mum, Becky, and my dad, Matt. I am also
ginger and white and reeeeeaaally cute! (Really, I am!) Mum and Dad adopted me when I was
7 weeks old from Animalia PetShop in Newmarket. I had 3 brothers and a sister but Mum and
Dad could only take me. They might be getting me a girlfriend next year though so I can
have someone to play with when Mum and Dad are out. (Please note that I have been
de-sexed! I have responsible owners)
Mum and Dad have decided that it would be better if I was an inside
cat because there is a lot of traffic around here and I might get hurt. I don't mind
though because they let me walk around on the balcony and I get to chew Mum's rose bush
that she has outside. Mum says it's better that I stay inside coz then I won't eat any
wildlife, and other cats can't hurt me. Inside cats live longer apparently.
I have quite a few hobbies including playing on the computer. I like
to help Mum and Dad when they are busy on the computer by pointing to the cursor as it
moves around on the screen. The only problem is that I have to sit on top of the monitor
and sometimes I bend over too far and fall off. I've decided that I don't like the
printer. It makes these horrible noises and when I try to pull the paper out it it beeps
at me. I'm just trying to help! I've also discovered that I am really good at climbing
curtains. I can almost reach the top if I get a big enough run up. Cool huh? Mum and Dad
don't like me doing it though, but how else am I supposed to get their attention??
Although lately they have been ignoring me when I do it, so I'll have to move to something
else. I also love boxes (like most cats do). My favourite boxes are tissue boxes. I like
the put my head in, but sometimes I can't get it out and Mum has to take it off before I
start walking into everything. There's a photo of me being a BoxHead down the bottom of
this page. Mum bought a big box home for me the other day, but she keeps telling me to get
off it and stop chewing it coz it cost a fortune and it's for taking our stuff overseas.
Whatever that all means. I keep losing my toys in Mums shoes. Mum calls me Puss In Boot.

What else do I enjoy? I like travelling. I have been on the public
buses several times now (on the way to the Vets) and went on a special trip with Mum, Dad
and Uncle Chris to Taupo (3hrs from here) to meet my Grandad and Uncle Max. Grandad fell
in love with me, of course. Uncle Max wasn't sure (him being a cat and all) and he decided
to retreat outside the whole time I was there. Uncle Max is 17 years old, and Dad says
he's too old to play now. AAAWW! Mum and Dad like taking me out in cars and on long trips
coz in December I will be flying to Perth and they think it's better to get me used to
travelling now so I'll be Ok in the plane, whatever it is. Apart from travelling I also
like eating and sleeping.
