IRC & NET FRIENDS
Well, you guys deserved your own page so here it is. Hopefully I haven't forgotten anybody, but if I have then let me know and I will add you in. I will also add links to your own webpages from this site and if you'd like me to add your webpage and I haven't already just email me and let me know. Also if you guys have any photos you'd like to contribute to my page then please email them to me.
THE GALS
THE HALLS -
GAIL, TROY AND KYLA. (aka ausma, beefcake and krusha) and Russ too! Sorry Troy, majority
rules and you'll just have to pretend that you're a gal for the time being. These
guys are great. They are also from Perth which is even better because it meant that I
could go and visit them every now and again. I don't get to see them much but I still feel
close to them. I suppose they are like extended family in a way. Love you guys.
ZOE -
(aka iMp^) I met Zoe in 1999 when I came to NZ. I stayed with her and her family in
Dunedin for a week. Zoe's really cool and sweet and funny and... I think you get the
picture. She's just a really wonderful person, and I'm glad to call her a friend.
Hopefully she'll come over to Perth one day so I can give her the grand tour. Plus, it

JO - (aka
Fenchurch) Jo's really cool. I've seen Jo quite a bit this year which has been good. Her
and Matt are good friends which is cool. She's down-to-earth and has a strange sense of
humour, although that seems to run in the family. Jo is also another Auckland person.
KATHY - (aka
Deepwater) Kate's cool. The lucky gal got to do student exchange in Denmark last year
*jealous*. She's living in Auckland apparently, and I've yet to meet her. Her and Zoe are
really close and say they're sisters, which is kinda neat.
MARIA - (aka
LadyHawk) Mariaaaaa, you've got to see her (is that how the song goes??) I met Maria on
the #Perth channel and Maria held the irc bbq meets at her house. What a gal. Maria's one
of those people who gives you a good honest answer whenever you need it. She's also fairly
good at keeping the peace when it's needed, and rather good at come backs :) But I haven't
seen her for about a year since I left IRC so hopefully we'll bump into each other
somewhere one day.
THE GUYS
PAUL - (aka
photon) Paul, what a sweetie. Kyla's the one that I have to thank for having Paul as a
friend. Paul is one of my best buddies, although we still haven't met. He's from South
Aussie, so it's a bit far away I suppose. Paul has been a great friend over the years I've
known him. We also had a special deal going but I don't know if that will get played out.

BRETT - (aka
Bort) Brett, another sweetie! Unfortunately he lives in the US so it will be a while
before we meet, although he's thinking about doing student exchange next year for Uni so
hopefully he'll decide to come to Perth. Brett it the first person I met on IRC all those
many years ago. I think it was 4 years ago actually. Brett's a great guy to chat to and
he's really honest and caring. Thanks for being a great mate Brett.
XUYEN - (aka
Schuan) Xuyen, the guru. I think Xuyen is the very first person I met on the internet when
we had MSN in '96. Wow, that was ages ago! Xuyen's a real character and we've had some
good times together at the Skyshow and so on. Xuyen likes to change his email
address around. He's hard to keep hold of. But he's a great guy and a good friend. Thanks

STEVEN - (aka
Forgone, DJ Thrash) Steven, Steven, Steven..where do I start with you?? I met you when I
was going out with Petar (all those many years ago) and you've been dashing in and out of
my life since. You let me paint your nails at the Australia Day Skyshow , hehe and you
were ALWAYS going out with a different girl when I talked to you (which was every week).
Although you've settled down a lot in the last 2 years! (Thank god! jokes) But seriously,
you're a special friend Steven and I'm thankful for knowing you. Steven's page is here!!
CHRIS - (aka
Flamen) Chris, Chrispie, one of a kind with that fiery red hair, although, it's been
shaved off hasn't it?? Chris is one of those people who can take an innocent statement and
make it incriminating. Yep, gotta watch your words around this boy that's for sure! I've
seen him from a distance a couple of times this year, out on the street, but that's it.
Chris is also an UNC which is this a clan or something and there's a few of them. They've

DAVE - (aka
Sparky) Sparky is also one of those people who can turn your words around. Sparky is
another UNCO er I mean UNC. Dave is also Jo's brother, although they look nothing
alike (they're probably both happy that I said that!) Dave's quite funny, but just be
careful how you word your sentences around him. He's not as innocent as he appears to be
;)
PAUL - (aka
Lochaber) Paul, a real sweetie. He has also owned some of the nicest cars I've ever
seen. What are they again MR2's or something? I dunno. Paul's another Aucklander, although
I've only met him once. We've talked quite a bit this year while he's as work and I'm

MARK - (aka
Dramoth) I did the craziest thing one day. I was invited to a net gathering/bbq and this
guy I knew *cough* but hadn't met said he was going to rollerblade there. So I told him
I'd drive us both there. Thankfully my mother didn't know that a) I was picking up a
stranger and b) that he was 34 years old. But age aside Dram's a good bloke. He's living
overseas now so we'll have to catch up when he gets back to Perth. If he does.
ROGIE -
(aka Finbar) Rogie, big brother. Well, not my real big brother, although that
would be nice. I think I met Rogie in #Perth too. He used to protect me from all the
crazies on irc. What a sweetie. Heard from him the other day after ages of not seeing him.
He's still as sweet as ever. I will have to keep emailing him, and stay in touch.
RISHI - Where
are you Rishi??? I haven't spoken to Rishi for quite a while. Hopefully he is going OK.
CODY - Cody,
Cody, Cody. Where do I start? Maybe at the house with the white picket fence?! I can't
remember when I met Cody and I think I met him through Kyla (is that right?) Anyway, he's
another real sweetie.
