Agenda of Halhul Municipality.
There are many projects, which the municipality had put on its agenda. The most important ones include.
  1. There is an urgent need to establish a services center to serve the neighboring villages, the population of which estimated to exceed 70 000 people.
  2. The municipality needs to establish an electricity project, as the agreement with Hebron Municipality will end in 1995.
  3. A sewage project must be implemented to protect environment and agriculture.
  4. Halhoul municipality badly needs to implement three projects to establish schools with at least 50 rooms as soon as possible. In this way, we will no longer need the rented schools which lack the basic appropriate conditions This will also give us the chance to improve the process of education by establishing model labs, libraries, computer labs, etc.
  5. Expanding the water network and building water tanks.
  6. Carrying out a housing project.
