The Art of Healing

Before you are able to heal, you must first understand what it is that you are healing. You are healing more than just the physical body. You are healing the ethereal body as well. Both are connected and both can not exist without the other. Any damage inflicted on the physical body will affect the ethereal body and any damage to the ethereal body will affect the physical body.

On an ethereal level, we posses a part that produces mind states and emotions which are forms of energy. That part of us also is the origin of our life force as it draws the energy from the ethereal universe. In order for our ethereal body to be sustained it requires a constant flow of energy. Should this flow become restricted for any reason, it will affect our physical body. This will result in two types of damage that can occur to our physical and ethereal united body.

Injury

Injury occurs when the physical body becomes damaged and this will then affect the ethereal body. If the physical body is too extensively damaged, this will cut off the flow of energy to the ethereal body and the body will perish. Should you repair the damage on the ethereal plane, it may take time for the repair to manifest in the physical plane which means that it may take time to heal. The benefit in doing this is that you restore the flow immediately, which minimizes the damage and insures that the body will recover.

Should you repair the damage on the physical plane, the physical damage may heal, but it may take time for the repair to manifest in the ethereal plane which means that it may take time to restore the flow. This may cause damage to the ethereal body which will manifest in the physical body, in some cases as a completely different medical problem.

The solution is to repair the damage on both planes of existence. Cosmic Law states that magic (as well as all things in nature) will always seek the shortest path to the end result. If you want your magic to work, provide it with a short path. Do not insist on your magic to manifest as a medical miracle, because to do so chooses a very long path and your magic will probably say, "No way, Buddy" and choose a shorter path anyway.

Illness

Illness occurs when the ethereal body is damaged and the damage is then reflected in the physical body. There are entities out there that are sort of like ethereal mosquitoes. They see your life force and attach onto it and draw upon your energy. This causes a reduction in your flow of energy which results in illness. The cold bug is such an entity that draws on your life force. The reason that they are contagious is because these ethereal mosquitoes have physical bodies just like we do. If their physical body is able to attack our physical body, their ethereal body will soon follow.

The division between illness and injury is a very hazy line. Depending on how close you decide to look at physical injury determines how many illnesses are in fact really injuries. There are also two more causes for illnesses which are emotional blockage and magical mishaps. Both are forms of ethereal energy and both are just as real to the life force energy as a moose is real while stopping traffic on the interstate. There is no need for these things to be there, but they are and they stop the flow through an area.

Repairing Damage

The key to repairing the ethereal body is restoring the flow. It doesn't matter what is the cause, the flow must be restored in order to regain the balance of energy. In order to restore the flow, you must first repair the damage. The method of repairing the damage to the ethereal body is through reconnecting the pathways between important points in the ethereal body. These important points are the ten sephiroht. of the  Tree of Life.

We use the Tree of Life as a guide because it represents our existence. Much like the cleansing of the hands symbolizes the cleansing of the body because the Tree of Life is associated to points on both hands. The repairing of the Tree of Life is the repairing of the ethereal body.

A competent magician will immediately recognize the similarities in repairing the ethereal body and pathworking. Both are dealing with the Tree of Life and the pathways that connect each sephiroht. Unfortunately that is the only similarity and upon closer inspection, you will find that there are important differences.

Pathworking is a guided visualization through the astral plane in a search for and to locate Higher Spiritual Entities. Repairing the ethereal body, is an invocation charging process that handles and manages ethereal energy. Both use the Tree of Life because this equation represents both the microcosm and the macrocosm.

Your ethereal body is the microcosm and Higher Spiritual Entities exist in the macrocosm.  There are those that  will disagree with me and take the position that pathworking is the discovery of the Higher Spiritual Self and in that respect they are correct in saying that both processes deal with the microcosm. In such a case, it would be acceptable to use pathworking experience to aide in the repair of the ethereal body. Although, if it is your experience to use pathworking to locate Higher Spiritual Entities in the macrocosm, do not incorporate your pathworking into the repair of your ethereal body. To do so, would be to essentially give out parts of your ethereal body to entities in the macrocosm and this will hurt the ethereal body rather than heal it.

The method of reconnecting these points and repairing the pathways is through sending energy through each individual pathway and energizing it while it is connecting two sephiroht. By doing so, you bridge the connection and reconnect both sephiroht. Once you have accomplished this, your Life Force will take over and maintain the connection as you relinquish your control over that specific pathway. In order for your Life Force to take over, it is necessary to start at the beginning and trace the flow of energy to the end. Your Life Force can not take over if it is blocked somewhere upstream. 

Repairing the Ethereal Body

STEP ONE. Perform a purification and cleansing ritual. The cleaner that you begin, the easier it is to reach the tougher problems. 

STEP TWO. Perform the Lesser  Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. Do not use the Achromation Ritual of the Banishing Pentagram here as to do so would be taking a short cut and that is not what it is meant for.

STEP THREE. Perform the Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram and Call upon the Light Divine. As is step number two, do the standard ritual and not the achromation.

STEP FOUR. Stand behind your alter and insure that you are comfortable. Raise your hands to your sides with your palms facing upwards. Say the following incantation:

I stand at the threshold of my existence, Above me, around me, within me, the pentagram circle contains me, None may pass sight unseen, None may enter this domain,  In the Holy Name Yah-Hah-Shu-Ah, I stand alone!  In the Holy name Yeh-Hoh-Vah-Sha, I am in control!

Return your arms to your sides.

STEP FIVE. Focus on Kether, the first sephira. The ethereal location is associated to a point about six inches above your head. Allow it to increase in energy and to become stronger. Do not invoke the Light to do this, instead use your life force to energize Kether. If some of you are wondering why we are using physical locations to work with the ethereal plane, the answer is because the ethereal plane does not have locations to work with being that space does not exist there.

STEP SIX. Direct a stream of energy out of Kether (1st Sephira) and into Hochma (2nd Sephira), which is located on the left side of your face. The stream of energy should form a straight line from 6 inches above your head to your left temple. Energize this connection and make it strong. Say the following incantation:

I travel the path from Kether to Hochma. My path to Wisdom is now secure!

STEP SEVEN. Direct a stream of energy out of Kether (1st Sephira) and into Binah (3rd Sephira), which is located on the right side of your face. The stream of energy should form a straight line from 6 inches above your head to your right temple. Energize this connection and make it strong. Say the following incantation:

I travel the path from Kether to Binah. My path to Knowledge is now secure!

STEP EIGHT. Direct a stream of energy out of Hochma (2nd Sephira) and out of Binah (3rd Sephira) and have both meet and join together. The stream of energy should form a straight line, and become equal in strength to the other streams. Say the following incantation:

I balance the path of Wisdom and Knowledge. The Celestial Triangle is now secure.

In order to avoid boring you with repetitive sentences, I shall condense my instruction to the following list. 

STEP NINE. Energize Kether (1) to Tiferet (6).   Incantation:

I travel the path  from Kether to Tiferet. My path to Inner Beauty is now secure!

STEP TEN. Energize Hochma (2) to Tiferet (6). Incantation:

I travel the path from Hochma to Tiferet. Through Wisdom, Beauty is now secure.

STEP ELEVEN. Energize Hochma (2) to Hesed (4). Incantation:

I travel the path from Hochma to Hesed. Through Wisdom comes Mercy. It is now secured.

STEP TWELVE. Energize Binah (3) to Tiferet (6). Incantation:

I travel the path from Binah to Tiferet. Through Knowledge, Beauty is now secure.

STEP THIRTEEN. Energize Binah (3) to Geburah (5). Incantation:

I travel the path from Binah to Geburah. Through Knowledge comes Power. It is now secured.

STEP FOURTEEN. Energize Tiferet (6) to Hesed (4). Incantation:

In Mercy there is Beauty. I travel from Tiferet to Hesed. The path is now secure.

STEP FIFTEEN. Energize Tiferet (6) to Geburah (5). Incantation:

In Strength there is Beauty. I travel from Tiferet to Geburah. The path is now secure.

STEP SIXTEEN. Energize Hesed (4) and Geburah (5) to link together.
Incantation:

I balance the path of Power and Mercy. The Moral Triangle is now secure.

STEP SEVENTEEN. Energize Hesed (4) to Netzach (7). Incantation:

I travel the path from Hesed to Netzach. Through Mercy comes Victory. It is now secured.

STEP EIGHTEEN. Energize Geburah (5) to Hode (8). Incantation:

I travel the path from Geburah to Hode. Through Strength comes Splendor. It is now secured.

STEP NINETEEN. Energize Tiferet (6) to Netzach (7). Incantation:

I travel the path from Tiferet to Netzach. Through Beauty there is Victory. It is now secured.

STEP TWENTY. Energize Tiferet (6) to Hode (8). Incantation:

I travel the path from Tiferet to Hode. Through Beauty there is Splendor. It is now secured.

STEP TWENTY ONE. Energize Tiferet (6) to Yesode (9). Incantation:

I travel the path from Tiferet to Yesode. Out of Beauty, we build the Foundation. It is now secured.

STEP TWENTY TWO. Energize Yesode (9) to Netzach (7). Incantation:

I travel the path from Yesode to Netzach. From the Foundation we gain Victory. It is now secured.

STEP TWENTY THREE. Energize Yesode (9) to Hode (8). Incantation:

I travel the path from Yesode to Hode. From the Foundation we gain Splendor. It is now secured.

STEP TWENTY FOUR. Energize Netzach (7) and Hode (8) to link
together. Incantation:

I balance the path of Splendor and Victory. The Mundane Triangle is now secure.

STEP TWENTY FIVE. Energize Yesode (9) to Mahlkoot (10). Incantation:

From the Foundation we build the Kingdom. So be it secure.

STEP TWENTY SIX. Energize Netzach (7) to Mahlkoot (10). Incantation:

As we are Victorious, so shall be the Kingdom. So be it secure.

STEP TWENTY SEVEN. Energize Hode (8) to Mahlkoot (10). Incantation:

As we are Splendorous, so shall be the Kingdom. So be it secure.

STEP TWENTY EIGHT. Take a moment to feel all of your pathways unblocked and cleared. Raise your arms in triumph and say this incantation:

The Tree of my Existence flows with life energy, The pathways through my soul is cleansed and pure, I have been reborn to serve in the Light, Iehi Auor! Divine Light Descend!

STEP TWENTY NINE. Invoke the Light Divine. Be prepared as it can sometimes hit you pretty hard when all your pathways are clear. Take a moment to experience the awesome power and glory of the Light Divine.

STEP THIRTY. End the ritual. Close all circles and thank all benevolent entities. Although thirty steps may seem to be a lot of memorizing, the process itself is really quite simple and it is the fact that there are twenty two pathways that make it appear so extensive. The process is as follows.

1. Identify the pathway through its physical equivalent.

2. Channel energy through the physical equivalent until it is charged. The illusion is that you are working with the physical, but actually you are working with the ethereal. The energy that you are working with originates and is operating on the ethereal plane and it is being directed through the ethereal body's physical counterpart.

3. Acknowledge that the pathway exists. By doing so, you reclaim your authority over the pathway.

4. Give  reasons why this pathway is important and by doing so give meaning to the repairing of the pathway. There are only two rules in this process. The first is that a pathway can only be charged when it is connected to a previously charged pathway. The second rules is that you must start at Kether and end at Mahlkoot. All other factors may be changed. This includes the incantations and the pathway order.

The reason for this is that the process   given above is the heart and soul of the ritual and also else is just filler and decorations. In order to understand a ritual, you must be able to identify what can be changed and what can not. Only in doing so can you truly produce all that the ritual has to offer. Through studying this ritual you will find that there two other rituals hidden within it.

Hidden Ritual #1
If you have the gift of magical sight where you are able to interpret auras and chakras (which are quite similar to sephiroht.), you may possess the ability to identify breaks in pathways. Should you posses this ability, you could choose to take the direct approach and repair only that which is broken. 

Hidden Ritual #2
Although this ritual focuses on the magician's own body, this ritual could be applied to healing others by replacing the life force energy used to mend a pathway with the Light as an energy source. The incantations could be sensorially associated and thus become silent.  

Crystal Achromation

Another form of healing that is equally effective is Crystal Achromation. This healing technique is based on chakra energy points and is based on standard metaphysical healing techniques often used when healing with crystals.

In working with this ritual, you will find that although the locations of the chakras are in relative proximity to the locations of the sephiroht., many of the colors and definitions of these points to do not correspond to the colors and definitions of the sephiroht. This does appear to cause a conflict of faith, but that is only how it appears and in fact there is no conflict of faith. As we have discussed, two things can be completely opposite, yet both are true.

This is due to the essence which is the actual process itself being in agreement and only the superficial physical elements that are in opposition. The truth is that the energy we see is on the ethereal, thus the colors that we see are actually sensorial associations that we perceive. The definitions that correspond to these locations on the body are not in question, but what is under debate is the locations themselves which are also subject to interpretation.

The process of the Crystal Achromation Ritual is to be able to pick up an object and to identify it's energy signature and the mind state that is equivalent to this signature. By assuming this mind state, you are able to duplicate this energy and thus produce the same effect as the crystal. 

The reason this ritual is called the Crystal Achromation although it may be used with any object, is because this ritual's primary use is to heal. This ritual may also be used to work with both natural and synthetic objects.

The benefit to this ritual is that we draw our strength from the Light Divine and our duration and potential is without limit. Crystals do not share these same properties with us, therefore there is always a limit to what a crystal can do. 

The magical basis of this ritual is based on the realization that we can become anything that we choose to be. When a magician experiences something, there is always the potential that the experience may be duplicated and mastered. Crystals are willing partners in this process as their main reason for existence is to teach and if we are willing to learn, there is much that we may gain. 

Chakras
One of the many advantages to using the chakra system is that it is an established and proven method which is widely accepted in the metaphysical community and is still practiced in eastern religions. The simple truth is that High Magic has not invested a whole lot in the area of healing and the information pertaining to this art is quite deficient.

The primary rituals used in High Magic in relation to healing the body are the Middle Pillar Ritual and the Circulation of the Body of Light. Both rituals have their importance and are very good rituals, however they are vague and fail to address the individual problems of the body. They are also much too powerful for concentrated work on specific areas.

The MPR and the Body of Light are sort of like a garden hose. The hose is great for watering a lawn, because that is what it is designed for. Should you desire to water the plant in your bedroom window, the garden hose becomes difficult and provides way to much water for such a delicate task.

The chakra system consists of the  following points on the body. Although they are many more (which many are in disagreement to how much more), the ones given here are those which are most widely used and accepted.

Chakra: Crown
Location: Top of Head, above the body
Crystal: Clear Quartz
Application: Personal Identification with the Universe.
Attain Peace and Harmony through unity with the Divine.

Chakra: Third Eye Chakra
Location: Center of forehead, just above the eyes
Stone: Lapis
Application: To clear away subconscious issues. To obtain psychic visions.

Chakra: Throat
Location: Center of the Collar Bone
Stone: Blue Lace Agate
Application: Attain the ability to communicate one's feelings and intentions. Empowers the voice.

Chakra: Heart
Location: Center of Chest
Crystal: Rose Quartz
Application: To resolve emotional or traumatic issues. To release suppressed energy, such as anger or sadness.

Chakra: Emotional
Crystal: Citrine
Location: Point of Balance, centered below the solar plexus
Application: To draw upon your personal power.

Chakra: Sexual
Stone: Carnelian
Location: Pelvic Bone
Application: Access creativity.

Chakra: Sacral
Stone: Red Jasper
Location: Base of Spine
Application: The grounding of energy.

As you may have noticed, the colors associated to these chakras have been left out. This has been done because these color are irrelevant. Everyone sees energy in their own way and how another may perceive energy is irrelevant. This is why people disagree on the colors of chakras and why these chakra colors do not match the sephira.

You will also find that there are many more crystals and stones associated to these chakras and many people will be in disagreement to what is associated to what. You will need to determine what is proper for yourself. The application of crystals to the chakra system is based on color. The basis of this application is that crystals work with light and chakra energy can also be perceived as light and it is this light that we see in various colors of the chakra.

I do not agree with the light theory as I am able to perceive energy patterns emanating from many objects that do not work with light. In any case, I do  agree in the associations made between various chakras and the crystals assigned to them. The light theory may or may not be correct, but the connection between crystals and  chakras seem to hold some truth. The unequivocal reality is that there are so many people out there using the chakra system, from Kreya Yoga to New Age Gurus to Zen Masters, the system has proven that it works.

Furthermore the information that all these groups have put together is very thorough and empowers this system with knowledge. It would be foolhardy of us to walk away from such an opportunity just because we were not the ones who created it. 

The Crystal  Achromation Technique In order to perform a Crystal Achromation, you must first sensorially associate the crystal to a mind state. Next, you will have to acquire the mind state. While maintaining this mind state, invoke the Light Divine. Control the energy produced by this mind state and powered by the Light as you would with a charging ritual or simply channel and project it in the direction that you desire. As simply as I have explained this technique, it should be understood as I have walked you through the Achromation process five times before this chronicle.

For those of you who were not paying attention, the Achromation process is as follows. You create a mind state and the mind state produces a force of energy. You then power this energy with the Light Divine.  We are like the crystal that filters sunlight into prismatic rays. We are like the raindrops transforming sunlight into rainbows. As we maintain our mind state, we filter the Light Divine and this energy transforms to our desires. We are the Achromancers, High Magicians of the Angelic Realm.

Departing Thought

A person once approached me distressed that an ability that once came naturally seemed to have disappeared and the proficiency was no where to be found. Allow me to dispel a common and erroneous myth.

Once you attain power, it is often believed that you can kick back and relax because you have already accomplished what needs to be learned to do what you were seeking. Wrong! I keep telling people that you must maintain the fundamentals or risk learning bad habits and forgetting how to do things.

It happens all the time and even to the best of us. I used to be able to astral project at will. I used to be able to see the future. I don't use those abilities anymore and have lost them for the moment. Do I regret? Should I lament? No. To do so would only waste my time. You have to keep looking forward and if I wanted to, I can always work on regaining those abilities.

Remember that our potential is limitless, but our capacity requires constant work. If your cup fills up, you have to make room for more and that means either to empty part of your cup or transform into a bigger cup. 

By working with the fundamentals which helps you retain what you have acquired while learning new things; you force yourself to retain the new as well as the old and that's how you become a bigger cup. Practice, practice, and when you are done; practice some more.
