Have you ever wished that you were invisible?
Yes, I'm sure we all have at some time or another. Scientifically
speaking it would seem a very far-fetched idea, but is it
possible? I don't know, but I can let you know about a couple of
old country tricks which are meant to make you disappear. How
seriously you should take them is another matter.
One way is simply to wear an agate around your neck. An agate is
a semi-precious stone that is often made into jewellery.
A cheaper way of doing it, although definitely much more
gruesome, is to carry the right eye of a bat around with you in
your pocket. Although where you can get hold of bats these days,
I just don't know.
You can get an itch at any time on any part of
your body. Often there seems to be no reason for it at all, and
one good scratch quickly gets rid of it. Next time you feel an
itch try to remember exactly which bit of the body it is coming
from. According to folklore, each itch has a different meaning.
An itch in the hand or on the right ankle means there's some
money coming your way soon. But an itch on the left ankle tells
you that you will be giving away some money in the near future.
If your nose itches then you are efther annoyed, or you are about
to be Kissed.
If It is your head then you wfil be in luck all day.
When your feet start to itch prepare yourself for
a difficult journey.
An itchy elbow is the sign that you will soon have a new love in
your life.
Finafly, in America, if your knee itches then you are jealous of
someone.
