Okay, even though it's presumed Mulder has sex with Kristen, it doesn't deter his feelings for Scully. After all, he's in a vulnerable position, feeling guilt about Scully, and not knowing where she's been for the past few months. It actually kinda makes sense that way.

BACKGROUND INFO: The writers were thinking about making Scully's sister, Melissa, a romantic interest for Mulder. Whew! I, for one, am glad they didn't go with that idea.

PERSONAL NOTES:
I LOVE THIS EPISODE.  The creepiness and the fact that this is more plausible to our everyday lives makes it all the more scary.  But I do love it because Scully finally reacts in a way that I can relate to.  And she takes comfort from the only one she can trust, aside from her mom, of course.  Mulder was being the wonderful friend that he truly is.

PERSONAL NOTES:  There's a scene where Mulder tell Chester "you should always carry protection."  Then Mulder hands him something, and Chester smiles.  Now it could be just the $5, but is there an implication of him being handed something extra as well???  Hmmm....

Colony (part 1)
