They had about 15 minutes before boarding. Leo's mind was swirling with the info Zenya provided about Kali, trying to focus on something his mind was trying to tell him about this case, something that keeps dancing out of reach. Perhaps a thread that bound all of the victims together. He looked over at the rest of the team reading over their copies of the case files, all except Zenya who seemed to be concentrating more on the plane outside, steeling herself for the flight to come.
"Jawbreakers or gum?", Leo leaned over to ask.
Zenya looked over to Leo with a puzzled look on her face. "Excuse me?", she asked.
Leo smiled, "Jawbreakers or gum. Something to chew on in order to keep your mind off the hop from here to Santa Fe. Helps me to take away my pre-flight jitters."
Vanessa looked up from her case file and said, "You get the jitters flying also? I find that a bit hard to beleive."
With a laugh, Jim told Vanessa, "Well, given the unusual circumstances that he probably had to do his flying under, I wouldn't be too surprised. It's probably not easy flying around with people shooting at you, hell, I still get a bit nervous flying myself."
Leo looked over to Jim and nodded. "You got that right, Jim."
Jim shrugged, "All I do is run some tunes through my head during take off and landing."
"Well, thanks a lot guys.", Zenya said with a smile. "At least now I know that I'll be aboard a tiny plane with a bunch of people just as nervous as I am."

After an uneventful flight, the flight-weary agents disembarked at the even smaller airport. Walking through the arrival gate, an older looking female strode forward to meet them.
"Agent Jordan stern? Could I have a moment of your time while the rest of your team get their baggage?", the well-dressed woman asked. "Sure," Jordan said as he stepped to the side. "I'll meet the rest of you at baggage claim.", he addressed the rest of the team.
While the rest of the team made their way to baggage claim, the thought that was eluding Leo finally decided to settle in his mind. Once there, Zenya went to the phone banks to make a call.
"Jim, Vanessa. What was it that Zenya said about the nature of Kali?" "Well, she said that Kali was usually depicted as the goddess that killed her own creations.", Vanessa said, remembering the conversation back on the first flight.
"Yeah, i think she said that Kali usually created, nurtured and then killed off her creation.", Jim added. "Why?"
"I'm wondering if the victims all had abortions sometime prior to their deaths.", Leo thought about the case files. "Trouble is, I don't remember any notations in the autopsies about the victims having any signs of being pregnant or having abortions."
"well, due to the horrible nature of the crime, the medical examiner might have overlooked that." Zenya added, rejoining the group.
"Sort of, a life for a life by some pro-life supporter?", Jim wondered. "perhaps, but why the skull on Kali's head? Why remove the hearts?", Vanessa asked.
"I don't know.", Leo shook his head in confusion.
"Well, at least we have one question to ask the M.E. in this latest victim.", Jim said. "It's another possible angle to this case."
A few moments later, the team was approached by a middle-aged slightly balding man in police uniform.
"You must be the FBI people. I'm Sheriff Trevor Jackson, Santa Fe PD. I'm sorry I wasn't here earlier to meet you at the gate, but it's been quite hectic with this murder case.", the officer told them. "Is this all of you?"
As the team looked at each other with the same puzzled look, they all had the same question on their mind. Who was Jordan talking to at the gate?
