Light House Of The Pharos
'Light house of Pharos", a peninsula near Alexandria,
Egypt. The tower of white mable was completed
about 279B.C., and was about 122m high with a
ramp leading to the top where a beacon was kept
during day and night. It remained standing until
A.D. 796.
