Things to know about making oils for rituals:
There is no magic in making and blending the oils. Here is a
basic method:
* Assemble the essential oils ( and bouquets) called for in the
recipe.
* In a clean sterilized glass jar, add 1/8 cup of the following
vegetable oils:
Safflower
Almond
Sunflower
Hazelnut
Coconut
Grape seed
Apricot Kernel
Jojoba
I have found the Jojoba oil has worked the best (Best place to
find is at Pier One Import) Because it is not a oil but a liquid
form of wax, it never becomes rancid and can be kept longer
periods of time.
* Using a eye dropper, add the esstiantal oils in the prepare-
tions recommended in the recipes that are on the page.
* Swirl the essential oils into the base oils, don't stir.
Gently rotate the oil clockwise to empower it.
* Finally, store all the oils away from the heat, light, and
moisture (not in the bathroom..PLease!) in airtight,
opaque or dark colored glass bottles. Label and keep them
for use in the ritual
