From a medical standpoint, there is a certain amount of protein available from a hearty serving of fecal matter. Like the neighborhood dog (which most likely is our critter) they consume various buffets throughout the feeding hours... Apparently animals DO NOT fear the disease "CRYPTOSPORIDIUM" from consuming this food stuff...Neither do humans (the risk of getting this is SMALL...due to the fact that HEPATITIS is mostly associated with this sort of hygiene) |
"CRYPTOSPORIDIUM" is best known for growth and spread due to unsafe and im- proper processing of drinking water. Odd enough, most cases (in the US) are not from animal wastes, but from HUMANS. Both LARGE & SMALL cities alike are victim to this wrath....The symptoms are flu-like in nature, with extreme pain, cramps and intense diahrea. Fever & DEATH are possible. :) | ||||||||||||||||
