As they sat, Soun stood up, speaking deeply. "Family, today has arrived a guest. As you know, he will stay for nearly two months, so please make his stay comfortable" After speaking, he sat. His voice had been nervous. Patiently, he awaited any comments. Finally, Ranma spoke "Uh... Have we got to... do anything with him?" "What do you mean?!" Ranma scratched his head "Well, I mean if we have to show him around... or something." Ranma struggled to keep calm. Soun lowered his head "I don't know". Genma shook his head and showed a sign saying "He doesn't look like a good fighter", even when he was in human shape. Everyone, except Nabiki, exhaled. She spoke "What's wrong with all of you? He seems nice to me!" Everyone else looked down. "Where is he now?" asked Soun. Nabiki smiled "He's helping Kasumi. Ain't that nice?" Everyone's face looked confused. Back on the kitchen, Kasumi washed the dishes. She had asked Vincent to stop helping her, after all, he was their guest. "Precisely" he had answered, but Kasumi wouldn't let him work, so he went back to his room. She wondered She smiled, feeling more comfortable about Vincent. As she worked, her mind kept thinking of him, no matter how hard she tried to think of anything else. A dark figure stealthly slid through the corridors upstairs. It pushed Akane's door open and jumped in. An emotioned voice came from the shadow "Silken undies! Silken undies!" and it began opening all the drawers, cheerfully pulling out all female underwear it could find. Happosai stopped as he heard a noise coming from Genma and Ranma's room. It sounded like if someone whispered to him. Suspecting a trap from Ranma, Happosai carefully slid out of Akane's room. The corridor was dark. thought Happosai His thoughts were interrupted by the strange whisper. With the utmost care, Happosai climbed up and slided one of the pannels on the ceiling, climbing up and closing it behind. He was now above Ranma's room, and could hear that soft sound. It nearly sounded like breathing of an strange kind. Happosai could hardly wait to get down, and so he slowly slided one of the pannels. "That he'll stay in our room?! No way!" Ranma was outraged. Soun didn't react to his anger. "Where else could he stay? That's the only guest room we have available right now" Soun jumped away just in time to avoid Genma's hammer. "You should have told us!" nearly screamed Ranma. "He could stay in my room, or in Akane's" Said Nabiki. Ranma growled frustrated, closing his fist, then he nodded and walked out of the dojo... After punching Soun's head into the floor. "He took it well" Said Soun "And Genma too" Added Nabiki, watching his father as he pathethically tried to remove Genma's hammer from his head. The bus departed, leaving Nodoka a couple blocks away from the Tendou residence. She had been visiting her family's tombs... Or that was what she had told Genma. She had been shopping. Curiously, she had felt the urge to buy certain things as she left after breakfast. There weren't many shops open on sunday, but she had casually walked into those who were. She had bought, among other common things, a big white book, a thermometer and a list of odd items she just had to buy. Barely understanding her need for such items, she gladly accepted it, for many of them turned out to be really necessary at the house. Walking calmly, Nodoka noticed nothing unusual, if such concept could apply to Nerima, and happily walked up to the big wooden door and into the paved road to the house. As she took off her shoes, her eyes met a dark figure slowly coming down the stairs. Her thoughts were interrupted as the man in black became totally visible. He softly bowed forward, greeting Nodoka. She shily lowered her head in response, and smiled at him. As he headed towards the garden, Nodoka entered the kitchen. "Who's that man?" Kasumi turned towards her and smiled "He's Vincent" "Oh! The one who was going to stay for a while?" "Yes" Nodoka smiled, shily looking at the door. "He looks nice..." Kasumi noticed that, as she spoke, Nodoka slowly ran her fingers over the blade of her half-drawn sword. "Where is he from?" "France" As they spoke, Kasumi dried her hands and helped Nodoka with the shopping bags. "Doesn't look very french" Kasumi frowned a little "I know, but he does sound french. Maybe he is from somewhere else but doesn't know it..." Nodoka smiled ironically "Or maybe he has some little dark secret.." Ranma met Vincent on the garden. The man in the suit stood near the pond, calmly looking into the water. Ranma took a long look at him, then smiled . Vincent seemed to react to Ranma's thoughts, as he turned his head, his eyes meeting Ranma's. For a moment, both stood frozen, but it wasn't too long before Ranma turned his eyes away. His glare was truly unbearable! . Ranma blinked. Before he could react, Vincent was standing in front of him, their faces nearly touching. Vincent's green eyes fixed on Ranma's. Thought Ranma, but he could gradually think less, as if those green circles were weakening his will power, slowly digging into him. He felt some kind of burn. Those eyes, so alien, so desperate, so cruel and cold. So chaotic. Ranma's wish of avoiding his glare gradually turned into an strange desire to hold it, just like a cat stares at the aproaching truck. But, suddenly, all that odd desire turned into unnatural terror. Those eyes had to come from a nightmare! The rest of the world seemed to cease its existance. Ranma was completely isolated, the green discs being his only reality. But, suddenly, and rather mercifully, Vincent blinked, and Ranma snapped out of it, quickly recoiling back. For a second, Ranma himself blinked. Then, Vincent was gone. Ranma sighed, and then turned around "Who's there?!" Nobody was to be seen "What...?" The voice whispered again "Who are...?" Then Ranma stopped, realizing that the voice came... from himself. It was the sound of a child crying, a girl... Akane! Ranma's memories brutally returned to his brain. He hadn't seen Akane since the morning. Where could she be? Would she be all right? Worring more as each second passed, Ranma hurried back into the house. Nodoka took a look at the goods she had bought, handling some of them to Kasumi. "I think these will be useful around!" Kasumi smiled in agreement, then looked at some of the remaining items "What are those? That book? That thermometer? And those bottles?" Nodoka gave her a confused glare "I don't know, I had an strange need to buy them... We'll figure it out" She looked at the big, white book and handled it to Kasumi "Keep this. You like reading, right?" Kasumi nodded "Yes, but I don't know if I should..." Nodoka frowned "You must!" Kasumi smiled and picked the book. It was a heavy tome with no title on its white cover. Kasumi placed it away from the rest. She then lifted a little bottle and looked at the label "S", then picked up some others "Sn, Ag, Mn, C... These are all chemicals" Nodoka lifted one eyebrow "Really?" Kasumi nodded "Odd" "What's odd?" Kasumi scratched her head for a moment "These are pure elements" "So?" "It is very rare to find most of these in pure form... Where did you find them?" Nodoka looked confused "Uh... From here and there, I don't remember now" Kasumi smiled "Well, who knows, we might need them!" They placed all the bottles back in the bag "Can you take them and the book to my room?" Nodoka smiled "Of course". Akane's door burst open thought Ranma. He looked at the long corridor, which was inmersed in darkness. He didn't stop to open a window or turn on a light, but hurried to Nabiki's room. "Locked" . As he ran to Kasumi's door, he nearly crashed with Nodoka, but a sucessful leap on the last second avoided the collision. He rebounded on the wall and landed behind her. She took a few seconds to realize what had just happened "Ranma, what's going on? Why are you running through the house" she added mentally. Having gone slightly pale, he scratched his head looking for an answer. "Uh... It's... Uh... Happosai! Yes, I was chasing him!" It didn't sound very convincing, but Nodoka didn't have reasons to doubt his son, so, with a "Hope you get him" she walked into Kasumi's room. Ranma exhaled in relief. Quickly he peeked into Kasumi's room, trying not to be noticed. Akane couldn't be there, and if she was, Nodoka would find her. He ran back to the door and, pushing aside the duck with "Nabiki" written on it, pressed his ear aganist the door. Silence. He looked around And so he went away, headed for his own room he thought as he aproached the sliding doors. Then he froze He shuddered with the idea of meeting Vincent again. As he remebered Vincent's eyes, cold sweat slided down his back. Running again, Ranma checked the master bedroom "Empty". He frowned as he tried to squeeze his mind. Where could she be? Not many places left. Suddenly, he realized that she didn't have to be in a room, crying on the bed ,as he had pictured her. She probably was in a place that nearly no one acessed. He remembered a room full of stuff which no one used anymore. It was down the corridor, but was easily forgotten for its lack of use. Ranma blazed through the corridor, barely being able to stop before crashing. He then pressed his ear aganist the door.... Silence. But still he KNEW she was there, so he slowly turned the handle, stepped in, and closed the door behind, inmersing himself in absolute darkness. Everyone was back into the routine. Sound and Panda-Genma played shogi while Nabiki chatted at the phone. After hanging up, she looked at the garden, discerning Vincent's dark silouette as she walked towards him, Vincent turned and walked out of sight, towards the dojo. Nabiki hurried a little, to find Vincent already standing at the dojo's door, his arms crossed, looking at her. She frowned a little and nearly ran towards him. He dissapeared into the door as she aproached. "What are you doing?" said Nabiki, nearly giggling, when she entered the dojo. Vincent, who was staring at the family altar, thus giving his back to Nabiki, emmited an uncomprehensible grunt. Nabiki smiled and aproached him, she then placed her hand on his shoulder. "Do you miss her" Said Vincent, his voice literally crashing on reality. "Miss who?" said Nabiki as she frowned in anticipation "Her" He lifted his chin towards the altar. Nabiki sighed "Yes". He turned his face towards Nabiki's "So you do have feelings after all" Nabiki looked confused, then she frowned, with anger slowly building up. Before she could react, Vincent spoke, his voice adquiring an strange tone "I still don't understand it" Nabiki frowned again "What's that?" He turned back to the altar "Death... To lose someone forever" Nabiki, relaxing, stretched her arm across his shoulders, and partially hugged him. He spoke again "I can't see it. I always see a cycle, a cosecutive step, but not an end..." Nabiki smiled sadly "You are VERY affected by religion, aren't you?" Vincent turned, his eyebrows arching widely over his eyes "By what?". She smiled tenderly "You know... God, heaven, angels... All that" Vincent looked suprised for a moment, but then his features gradually turned more ironic. A slight chuckle quickly turned into ironic laughing. Nabiki, disturbed by his strange laughter, had a first glimpse at Vincent's open mouth. She could hardly discern anything, and that was the odd thing, for at least his tounge should be perfectly visible. Abruptly, Vincent stopped laughig and covered his mouth with his left hand. Nabiki looked at him for a moment then she spoke "You don't have to feel bad if there's something *different* in your... body" She felt she wasn't transmitting her message correctly, specially when he lifted one eyebrow. She tried again "What I meant..." "Yes, I know what you mean. My mouth is not the problem" He turned his body, so she was now holding to both his shoulders, but keeping a safe distance. She spoke rather cruelly "You sure?". He smiled, still not showing his teeth "Yes, and I can prove it" She laughed "And how's that?" He grinned and looked directly into her eyes she thought, then Vincent leaned forward and kissed her. Nabiki, stunned for a second, quickly tightened her grasp. His lips were cold, as most of his face. She felt some kind of electricity shocking her... He was so close. Closing her eyes, she pushed forward with her tounge, slowly parting her own lips, and softly caressing his. It felt electric as her tounge calmly went over his coldness, to then try to push them appart and get into his mouth, as if trying to escape the cold outside. Waiting no more, he opened his mouth and let her in. She shuddered as his hot breath impacted the tip of her tounge, one of the body's most sensible areas. When she tried to touch his teeth, something warm and wet attacked her. Vincent's tounge quickly slided around hers, softly caressing. The taste of his tounge was electrical. Nabiki felt her body getting warm as her breathing lost it's continuity. With a sudden stroke, Vincent's tounge released Nabiki's and tried to enter her mouth. She offered no resistance, and so he gently slided over her teeth. Nabiki tried the same on him, but suddenly recoiled as she felt something sharper than expected. She then carefully returned. His teeth felt sharp and pointy, but she knew that hers did too -although not in that magnitude- so they were probably normal... Or maybe that's why he had covered his mouth before... Maybe he had fangs such as Ryoga's. Nabiki laughed internally, and then concentrated back on the warmth of the kiss. They continued kissing tenderly, until Nabiki felt her own hand going down his suit, towards his pants. She recoiled, her face reflecting some guilt. She blushed and lowered her head, her eyes still staring into his. Vincent, whose smile had vanished, closed his eyes and lowered his head too, thus shadowing more his already dark eyepits. Nabiki took a few steps backwards, then dared to speak "I'm sorry" Vincent didn't move. "You don't have to" He said. His voice was no longer charming or calm, but hard and even agressive. Nabiki lowered her eyes "If you want to, we can..." Vincent interrupted her, his voice terribly altered, nearly screaming "NO! IT ISN'T YOU, IT'S ME! DON'T.... JUST....!" His voice began to break into an uncomprehensible set of moans and growls. He then turned back and, before Nabiki could do anything, dissapeared in thin air before her eyes. Nabiki froze, her mind trying to understand what had happened. - End Part 2 - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Author's notes: -Yep, I suck. -I don't know the structure of Tendou-ke perfectly, so the room might not exist... Although I remember such a room from the anime... -Ok. What's Vincent? Make your bets: Movie star? Vampire? Jedi Knight? Encyclopedia seller? Ranma's son from the future? The evil monster that lives under the bed or, ocasionally, in the closet? A normal man? Zombie? M.I.B? Alien? Me? YOU?! -I haven't kissed much, so don't expect a perfectly detailed description. But, on the other hand, it might be Nabiki's first kiss (Since manga characters seem to have never kissed anyone before they actually do on the story), so her impressions are more or less like my guesses. Well, whatever. -Again, there's the lack of japanese words, names and expressions. -I don't know if Nabiki really spends so much time at the phone, but she looks like it. Oh, and I never got to read the chapters with Nodoka. I only saw a couple episodes from the anime (Which were fouly translated to spanish), so her behavior might not be perfect. Apologies to any Nodoka fans. -For the paragraphs, I try to get the same scene into the same paaragraph. Yes, it looks crappy, but I'm structuring this as a comic rather than as a story... In other words.... HELPZ! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- >:( Ok, ok. Fine with Vincent... But where's the rest of the Ranma cast? Where are Ryoga, Shampoo, Kuno, Kodachi, Ukyo, Mousse, Cologne... And all the others? What the hell happened to Happosai?! -Well, they'll appear (I have to make 'em react to Vincent) but not now. >:( Oh, and...What about sex and violence? And what about sex?! -Uh, emotions first. There'll be sex (I got Nabiki warm on this one) and there'll be more violence than you can handle... Whatever it takes to make this be readable and atractive. >>( But I want more sex!!!!!!! -*Sigh* Wait till Shampoo appears. <:( Only? -Well, MAYBE Kodachi too... And maybe someone else... <|[] Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! -Uh... Is your name -by any slight chance- Ataru Moroboshi? :) How did you know? -ORBITAL ION CANNON POSITIONED. TARGETTING.
