We rejoin with the others - some did make the ultimate trek to Base Camp, and we
swap stories. Now, the only thing on our minds was the long trek back to civilisation. |
On the way down, our spirits are lifted by three Nepalese children who offered to
entertain us with a song.. The genuine warmth and friendliness of these people is almost too good to be true. They have so little, yet give so much. |
They say it's the journey, and not the destination that matters. The journey is everything in the Nepal Himalaya.. |
