Each of those main catagories seen on the above map is broken down into many districts. This page is designed to help figure out if your new (or old) cyber home is in the right district. What does it matter?.....well I'm glad you asked that question! being in the right district means people will be able to find you when they do a topic search the more people who find you the more hits to your site :) but the benefits continue......every district has awards and programs for their citizens run by the Ministers and Neighbourhood Guides if your site is the in right district your chances of winning an award or being mentioned on your district Headquarters site are much greater. If you find yourself in the wrong district and don't want to move that's okay no one will come by and kick you out :) you will, however, be asked to move if you have a business site and you're not in the business district (please refer to the Guidelines )
