CHOPPER NOW SUPPORTS COMMAND LINE OPS !

RECALL NOTICE:

OOPS ! hihihi...CHOPPER version 042600 has been RECALLED...please delete it. I was quite distracted while coding that day, and so the finished product is CRAP ! Doesn't work right AT ALL ! So, please, delete it if you have it. You can download the current version (that works) below. Thanks ! And, my apologies to those who downloaded the CRAPPER version..

SORRY GUYS !

CHOPPER is a program I originally wrote in QBASIC, for DOS, and am currently translating into Visual Basic for Windows. The purpose of CHOPPER is to CHOP files into smaller pieces, which can later be regrouped with a batch file (which CHOPPER makes). This program is similar to Shredder, File Splitter, etc..., but I think it works MUCH better ! It is accurate to the byte, can chop up to 999 pieces (considering upgrading to enable up to 9999 pieces), supports drag/drop, has options to create an advanced batch file, which will first ensure all the pieces exist, then delete pieces after they are copied. Or you can chose a standard batch file, which deletes nothing. It has a few other cool features. Check it out, huh ?

NOTE: The QBASIC version works, but is not ready for release, as I wrote it for myself. If you would like a copy of this DOS program, which you can run from a command line, email your request to [email protected]
