WARNING ! WARNING ! WARNING !
MIXMASTER is NOT a toy ! It is powerful encryption ! don use it without reading ALL the documentation that comes with it, and if there's something you don't understand, read it AGAIN ! I'm serious ! You can REALLy screw up yer files with this, if you don't pay heed to your actions !

Well, now that you've been warned, let's get on with it, huh ?

FLUSH version MixMaster042300:

Flush was a program I intended to write in QBASIC. I actually wrote it out on notebook paper (back when I had no pooter), but never got around to actually fully coding it. Decided to make the code a part of MixMaster, as it seemed the right thing to do. It is my intention to write a seperate stan-alone prog to Flush files, and free-space, etc...for now, it resides in the MixMaster code.

It's purpose is to overwrite a file that you've mixed. MixMaster makes no changes to the original file, unless you've selected the "Auto-delete" option or the "Flush" option. instead, it creates a new, encrypted version of the original file. This is mostly because MixMaster does not store the password in the file, and does not check to see if the password you're unMixing with is correct. I aill not change this, so don't ask.

Flush overwrites only once. There's no need for more than that, at least not that I am aware of. however, future versions might indeed offer an option to specify how many times to overwrite the file. That should be easy enough.

If you know of some data recovery software that can recover a file that has been overwritten only once, please lemme know about it, so I can test it. THAQNKS !

If you have questions, or are still confused, read ALL the documentation again ! After that, direct your questions/confusion to the email below.
