God predicted through His prophet Zephaniah that he would restore the ancient Hebrew language. Hebrew ceaced to be the common language of the Jewish People before Christ came to the earth. No other people has ever lost its language and latter recovered it.

In 1901 a literary development took place, Russian-born Eliezer Ben Yehuda began creating new Hebrew words where the Bible gave no guidence, to publish "Hashkafah, His own Hebrew newspaper.

On September 17,1902 a leaflet was published stating the aim to establish a hebrew city, whose language would be the Hebrew Language.

By 1905 David Yellin founded a teachers association for all Jewish teachers in Palestine. The factor which united the members was the determination that Hebrew would be the language of teaching, learning, and daily life throughout the land.

As the Jews began to return from seventy different nations to their promised land in 1948 after 2000 years of exile the government and army began to unify them through teaching the revived Hebrew language.

The Jews of Israel will ultamtly compleat the prophecy stated by Zephaniah by calling upon the Lord, to serve Him with one concent.
