Mars is considered the red planet. Mars is similar to Earth. It's day
is slightly longer than ours. It's pattern of seasons is similar to Earth except twice as
long. Mars has clouds, volcanoes, canyons, mountains, deserts, and white polar snow caps
that shrink and grow with the seasons. Mars is very cold. It's surface is covered in rocks
and is mainly covered in red dust. It's atmosphere is thin and poisonous to human beings.
