If you were wondering why i chose the rune section of roswell to setup my homepage, well, it's because the neighborhood's name alone describes a littke bit about me. And who is "me", you might ask. Online, i might go by the name Broken Angel, or the more familiar, Vlad Tepes. (Due to a small paranoia factor, i will not give u any other name of mine, except for Rudy, my Christian name.) If you know me, then pleez feel privilidged...it's perfectly understandable. i might be one of the last few true man around. i have experienced numerous things throughout my short lifetime, but lived through it i have, at least long enough to transcribe what i have learned onto this page.
Roswell is the home of the paranormal, the occult, and anything considered outside of the norm. (god i fucking hate norms!) i happen to be interested and experienced in the ways of the freaks. They are my friends, the outcasts of society, these people are the best people you can ever hope to meet. The freaks are true to others, but most importantly, true to themselves...which is something most humans need to learn how to do...which is the most admirable quality one may posess. If it sounds like i'm preaching, i apologize in advance, but for those who need the apology are the same people who i'm talking about. i often pity those who go through life stumbling along, pretending to be what they aren't. It saddens me. Don't be afraid to be yourself, let loose, be as weird as you want, if it makes you feel good and is not going to hurt ANYONE then it must be okay. Just remember to think about the consequences of your actions, if u decide that proceeding with your course of actionz is okay, then GO FOR IT!
Runes were an old writing system first developed by the Vikings or Germanic Tribes of northern Europe over a millenia ago. They were often used in runemal, the art of divination using rune-covered stones. I have used these rune-stones mysekf, and i have found them to be rather accrate when used properly. By this i mean to help as a guide for you to improve your life. Plus, it is really cool as a way to write messages to yourself in a script that not many other people can read.
Now i will get to my two nicknames...i first picked up Vlad Tepes after i had learned the true meaning of that name, about four and a half years ago. It means "Vlad the Impaler" in Romanian. It is the real Dracula's nickname. He was a brilliant man, a hero to the Romanian people, he was a prince who fought off both the Turks and Christian groups who tried to dethrone him and conquer his people. I like the way he dealt with things, so i decided to name myself in his remembrance.
bROkEn aNGeL is a newer one for me. i only picked this one up this past summer (1997). This describes how i felt after a number of certain events passed hrough my life. Reflecting on myself and my past, i decided to look at myself in his manner, as a bROkEn aNGeL, because i had gained access to heaven but lost it through my faults and deeds, and through sheer random chance.
i now attend the University of California at Los Angeles, and will be learning many interesting things. i have already started learning Tagalog (the major Filipino dialect), Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee's martial art), Kali (a Filipino martial art), and Muay Thai (Thai-boxing). Among oher things, i will hopefully have a jon soon, to pay for all my bills. i spend a lot of time with my friends, who mean a lot to me (some of them who have pages will be found on my linkz page).
Some of my likes are people who are real, beautiful things, places, ideas, people, anything freakish or in the least bit strange, martial arts, vampires and mythology/folklores. the occult, good music (music that has quality....sorry Hanson, not you), and having fun. Some of my all-time fav movies are the Rocky Horror Picture Show, A Clockwork Orange, A Nightmare Before Christmas, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (i grew up on this stuff), Alladin, The Beauty and the Beast (yea, i know, all Disney cartoons...copyrightd and trademarked and stuff), Trainspotting (rather inspirational for me), Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs, anything from John Woo or Quentin Tarantino, or Tim Burton. My most favoritest band in the whole world is Nine Inch Nails...but i like rock, industrial, techno, trance, deep house, r&b (now, at least), old rap and hip hop (the new stuff doesn't do it for me...i need stuff like the Beastie Boys or Cypress Hill), jazz, swing, ragtime, basically anything except for country. I drive a '94 Ford Escort, and i drive it well (fast too). Friendly women/girls who are approachable are the best thing a guy could ask for...
A few of my dislikes are people who don't know how o drive, ie., those who go too slow or get in my way, really stupid-ACTING people (if someone is not smart, i do not hold it against them, only if they use it as an excuse would i). Neat-freaks or people who LIKE math are just weirdos, and repeat criminals should be severley punished, some crimes by execution. Those that are sentenced to death should get ONE appeal, which would last for 6 months tops, then they would be killed. NO EXCEPTIONS.
