What is religion?
What does religion mean to you?, To me religion is destructive, oppressive ,out of context ,out of date. The actual philosiphes,the core of religions,in theory I agree with because religions at the core are a pathway back to god ie, the core is spiritual. However the main religions of this world have forgotten this core, the spirituality the path to communicate with the divine, with the god within. But it is the people in power who take these philosophies ,beliefs and bend and reshape them for their benefit who forget the spiritual core, this is what fucks religions up. Often, the layers of hierarchical rules built up around the truth, but the political needs of the passing generations, have obscured and distorted the pathway this is when religion becomes dogmatic and fundamentalist in its views .I beleive, the power lies within each person to tap into god its knowledge its supreme energy.For when i talk of god i am not describing the christian idea of god but the concept of a kind of energy. This energy I talk of occurs mysteriously in many different cultures around the world it is called ki by Japanese ,qi or chi by chines and prana by yogis of India. This energy is the life line of all living things including you ,This energy can be experienced by all.If you think of your body as being more than just physical you will learn that there is a whole other source of virtually unlimited energy that every one can tap into this energy can be used for healing and spiritual growth as in communication with the divine. This energy is god it is every where and every thing .
