The
Forbidden Realm

As you fall through the fissure you
begin to realize that something is starting to materialize
beneath you. Suddenly the ground rushes
up to meets you with a sudden yet unharmful impact.
You realize that you are in the middle
of a snowy field. ahead of you is a large castle.
The denizens of the Keep warmly welcome
you from the chilling outside.
A few days go by as you rest up. You
learn from the inhabitants that you are in a place
called The Forbidden Realm. And that
you have been staying in Severus's Keep.
The longer you stay the more you learn
of this land. For starters the structure you currently inhabit
is where the lord of this land stays.
Many days have you wondered his halls and discovered many
wonderful things. For example the lord
severus's Art gallery has enraptured you for many an
hour. plus his lordships two games of
fancy have also caught your intrest more then once.
To the north there is a noisy little
structure locally known as the Gnomish
inventors. This home to the Gnomes, mischievous inventive
little creatures that have insatiable
curiosities. You have heard of many fabulous devices being
invented here.
To the direct south is an evil vile
place called The forbidden temple. Made from
the ancient skeleton of a Titan, its
purpos is maily of forbidden knowledge and worship.
The locals fear and revere this place
for its seductive yet forbidden knowledge
held within. It is rumored that the
gods themselves can be contacted at the alter.
To the south west there is a lone monolith
that is said to hold the mystic powers
of the elves. As far as you know its just a big rock.
Lastly to the north west there is a
mysterious outcropping of stones. The locals fear this place
and dare not tread near it. There fear
intices your curiosity to the point of breaking.
You decide to trek up to the outcropping.
Apon arriving you note a very mysterious smoke that hangs around the stones.
On closer inspection you discover that the smoke is entering the stones.
You touch one of the rocks and to your
amasement... your hand disappears within the
stone! You have heard of such devices
before. This is a portal gate- a "link" to another location.
Apon a careful inspection you discover
that there are many gates, each leading to different areas and even possibly
different worlds! You choose one of the gates and you are suddenly whisked
away
from the Forbidden Realm to an unknown
location...
