That question is never asked here. You did see...something...now you need to know what that something was.

Here is a quick list of questions that are used to guide the investigator.
 

• What time of day was it. night or day?
• Were you in the presence of other eye witness's?
• What was the duration of the sighting?
• List any background light sources, and distance behind object. and same for frontal lighting
• What, if any objects were between you and the object?
