The Solomons

Dick Solomon (John Lithgrow)
Dick is the rather eccentric leader of the gang - The Grand High Commander to be precise. He works as a physics proffesor at Pendleton University and shares an office with his human love, Dr Albright. He's very bad at lying and cannot hide his feelings at all.

Sally Solomon (Kristen Johnson)
Sally is second in command - The Lieutenant. Her basic job is being the alien's security officer. She is posing as Dick's sister. Sally has had a few jobs, such as being a waitress but she didn't keep them for too long. She has a direct attitude and knows that she is attractive.

Harry Solomon (French Stewart)
Harry was once seen as the least important member of the gang, "There was an extra seat". However, we have discovered that Harry's task is actually that of being a conduit for the gang to communicate to their boss - the Big Giant Head. Harry is posing as Dick's younger brother. Harry may appear dumb at times, but he does have a unique perpective about things. He's also a great dancer and artist and loves TV.

Tommy Solomon (Joseph Gorden-Levitt)
Tommy is actually the oldest member of the gang but on earth, has to be a teenager. His job is being the Intelligence Specialist. He is posing as Dick's son. Tommy finds it quite hard being a teenager and doesn't get on much with the rest of the lads, but he is quite intelligent and sensitive. He aslo has a girlfriend called August, who is often a source of confusion for Tommy.

The Others

Mrs Dubcek (Elmarie Wendel)
Mrs Dubcek is the Solomon's landlady and she rents out her attic to the aliens. She is of slavic hertitage and has had 3 husbands. She often gives the aliens good advice and hints about humans.

Nina (Simbi Khali)
Nina is Dr Albright's and Dr Solomon's secretary. She is often a advisor and confidedant for both of her crzy bosses. Nina is a close friend of Dr Albright's and they often go out and do things together.

Dr Mary Albright (Jane Curtin)
Dr Albright is an anthropologist at Pendleton University. She shares an office with Dr Solomon and is the object of his obsessions with love. Eventually she agreed to date him, and seems quite happy with their relationship, not suspecting the truth about about Dick at all.
