"Try me." replied Kathleen.
Salome was too shunned to say anything.
"The topic is over." Kathleen continued.
"The topic is not over until it happens." said Salome.
"It is for me." Kathleen disagreed. "I don't have to explain my actions to anyone unless it is wrong."
"What you are going to do is wrong." argued Salome. "What about Derek?"
"What about him?" asked Kathleen.
Salome was frustrated. "He loves you!" said Salome.
Kathleen grew angry. "That will not stop me from going ahead." snapped Kathleen. "I am not his girlfriend."
Salome was shocked. "How could you say that?" Salome managed to speak.
"Because that is the truth." said Kathleen. She opened the door. "Come on, the meeting is about to start."
The group met in the basement where most of the Legacy things were kept.
"Time is about to run out." said Kathleen. "There is nothing we can do to prevent any of the events from unfolding. Anyone who tries to is foolish." Kathleen looked straight at Salome. "Let the events unfold, don't make any foolish attempts. It will change the future in a bad way. Is that clear?"
The group nodded. Kathleen picked up the diary. "Everyone work on what we have for now."
"Let's work together, Salome." said Dara.
"Ok." replied Salome.
Dara picked up the drawings and they went upstairs to the lab.
"A penny for your thoughts." said Dara as she laid the drawings out.
"Kathleen." Salome answered.
"What about her?" Dara asked as she activated the special computer.
"I'm not sure if I can just stand by and let things happen." said Salome.
"You better." said Dara. "Kathleen is pretty serious about this."
"I don't care." replied Salome. "The Legacy group and I don't want to lose her."
"And we don't?" asked Dara while she waited for a program to load. "We don't but it won't be worth it if the future for the mankind had turned much worse."
"We will fight them." said Salome.
"Fight who?" Dara replied as she scanned the image of the sixth sepulcher.
"The evil beings." said Salome. "I don't see where the discussion is leading."
"There will be nothing to fight if the world ends." said Sara.
"You're kidding.... right?" replied Salome.
Dara looked at her solemnly. "No, I'm not." Dara finally said.
"Oh my God." said Salome.
Kathleen looked up at where it was and said at the same time as Derek....
"It's time."
Right where the sun used to be was a symbol of The Legacy shining brightly.
