Lady Heather's Beleifs

It is hard for me to really say what my beliefs are. I like scientific proof, things you can touch, see, and know that it is really there. One thing I do not believe is that "God" created man. Archeologists have proved that man had evolved from apes. My father also believes in evolution but "God" gave men soles. I however think all living animals have soles. Like us, animals have feelings, instincts and knowledge. They all have their own way of talking and communicating. It is hard for me to believe that there is a higher power because nobody has seen one. Maybe earth was created from bursting stars and suns, and animal matter came to life when certain gases came together and formed single-celled organisms. Then evolution took over. I do however believe in magic. I think that magic should only be used in doing good and not harm. Such as a healing spell or a spell that can help a person in need. I do not believe that magic should be used to do harm to other people or animals. It would be just plain wrong to do harm against another living thing. I love to learn about all the religions and what they believe in. I would never try to push what I believe on another person. I totally respect what other people's beliefs are. My parents and most of my family are Christian and believe in "God". Because of this, I am getting married in a church with a Pastor. I am doing this out of respect for my family and my fiancé. It was there wish that I had this certain wedding so I felt I should do this for them. I probably will establish more beliefs or even change some of these as I learn more through our coven. I am not as knowledgeable as some of the others are, but I will try my best to catch up and learn even more through them.
