*Ahem* I am shade's companion.. In this world world anyway.. I write
for
him from conversations with him and so forth.
The Story he told is me very old... before the creation
of this
place we call earth...in an alternate time or dimension (he is not
sure
himself) He recalls escaping.. from a dark place, a prison like place,
where reality was too stagnant and fixed for the likes of him.. He
wrestled free, and found himself in an entirely different place.. places
with light and breath and fire.. fire of gods.. magick.. aeons ago..
before the dinosaurs were wandering the earth, Shade wandered
and
learned.. For many millenia, he was active.. learning and exploring
the
boundaries of this "reality" Then he decided to discontinue himself,
and
continue at a later time.. 7000 years ago he woke up. Founding
an
extradimensional city, of other escaped dreams, and ether, he allied
himself with the being known as Set, and together the both of them
terrorized the spirit world. Causing terror and destruction to
a
countless number of dimensional wanders and spirit. He eventualy became
known as the Black Emporer of Shadows. which He shortened to
Lord
Shade. After several millenia under rule, Shade was exiled once
again..
his city revolted and burned him into the static reality of earth...
and
here he wanders.. befriending and making amends for his past ways..
Many
of the souls he encounters he remembers in his grand hall of
torture..and wishes to help them, without their knowledge, of course.
Vampires interest Shade, and he has experimented with the curse of
Caine, --Lupines, as well, says he, having limited sucess in
learning
the true nature of their beasts, he has turned to consorting with many
a
fantastic creature.. His nature is one of contradiction and
misdirection.. the Lord of Shadows has his own agenda, and It does
not
include anyone he has met so far... His desire to return to the City
of
shadows to rule seeps in ever closer.. A dream within a dream...
