Young Days
I was about 12 going on 13....A real tomboy I was , since we were brought up on a farm , having to do my chores, such as milking the cows, feeding the pigs, etc... my greatest love though were horses, I use to ride bareback and sometimes without a bridle...... Gosh thinking back , life was so much better then.... Any way this perticular time, I now becoming a woman thought that I was old enough to be able to sleep in my own room... See my brother, and myself use to sleep with our granddad in his great big bed.... I loved the cold nights, when my feet were cold , I'd stick them on my brother and he'd thump me....lol Well me been the stubborn child I was thought I'd be brave enough to sleep in my own room.... All day I spent setting up my new bedroom, sticking pics all over the wall and in the 60's thestars then were Bobby Sherman, The Monkees, and ooo a few more hunks then....lol Teenage crushes.....lol, thinking back I can laugh about, specially when i see the children of today and how much the tastes havechanged...... now getting back to what I was telling you . Later that evening I told my grandfather I was going to sleep in this room..... I went to bed taking with me my radio.... Pulling the cord for the light I settled down in bed, but for some reason I couldn't sleep.. I tossed and I turned, on turning towards my wardrope , my hairstarted to stand on end and then I saw a white figure coming towards me from the wardrope...Boy was I scared, I grabbed the light cord, snapped on the light grabbed my radio and ran from the room and jumped onto my grandfathers bed... He woke with a start and asked me what was wrong, I was shaking,so I told him... He said ,
Another time
There was myself , my brother and my uncle, we were playing outside. They then said that they were going down to the cowshed to have a bath.I thought I'd follow them ,when my uncle told me to go home as it was getting dark and the ghost would be out... I laughed at him, but inside me I was somewhat a little scared..As I walked past the dog shed I got this funny feeling, looking up at house, I saw that the gate was closed and there was this head leaning on it's hands on the gate, I couldn't see any body, so I screamed at the top of my lungs, My uncle came running in time to see the gate swinging back...He walked me up to the house and I ran inside to my grandfather, there I stayed for the rest of the night......
