Salamanders - The Fire Devas
Connected to the Energy of the Sun
The name Salamander comes from Greek and Sanskrit mythology. They are found in the areas of the earth that bask in the sun. They are in the desert and on the beaches where we sun worship. Recall the feeling you have when you are lying on the beach in the warm sand with the sun beating down upon you. Life would cease to exist without the powerful work of the salamanders.

If you have ever seen a volcano erupting, you have seen the Salamanders at work. There is nothing evil about volcanic activity. It is a destructive force, as are all of the natural forces of the earth. Volcanic activity is a necessary part of the constant evolution of the earth. Feel the power and the excitement when you see the lava flowing. You can even feel it when you are looking at a photograph, can't you?

Lightning: Pure Devic Energy
Even when lightning is striking miles away, one can feel the raw energy being released. The Salamanders work in conjunction with the Devas of Air, Water and Earth during a storm. Perhaps that is why one feels the power of a storm so strongly. A strong thunderstorm seems to ignite the very DNA of the human body, perhaps because all of the four Devic Energies are working together.
