An-Seok and George's Earthday Page

Hello. Welcome to our Earthday page. We, An-Seok and George, had developed this site on April 29, 1998 to celebrate the Earthday 1998 and to make the world a better place. Being residents in the country of China which is over populated and overpolluted, the places are run-down and polluted. Litter is everywhere on the floor. The air is uninhaleable, and the water is poisonous. We do not wish to see our whole world in this shape, so we decide to spread the awareness of Earth Day, to spread the ideas of saving the Earth.

We wish to encourage reduce, reuse and recycling, and make this world as livable as possible. We wish to make a positive contribution on the day in which we celebrate the Earth. We feel that we are unable to help the earth on Earthday since we live on the overpopulated and overpolluted city of Shanghai. Shanghai is very polluted that there aren't any recycle program, and trees are dying by the trash people had littered carelessly. We always notice that places with recycling and litter control programs very fortunate to have a chance to work toward in helping the Earth. Don't take these things for granted for when the earth is getting more polluted by the minute, take the effort to give back to nature.

Many people in Shanghai are trying to clean up the mess, but unfortunately, the majority of prople don't, and the worst of all, the Chinese government doesn't support any pollution refinement system. So we wish that the rest of the world would support anti-pollution, thus convincing China to finally adopt pollution refinement systems.

We hope you can use this site to learn more about the importance of saving the Earth, so that the concept of spreading the awareness of the Earthday will increase. Listed below are some of the links that will lead you to some of the professional Earthday pages, where you will be able to find many ways to save the Earth. We wish you to become more aware of saving the Earth as you would through these hyperlinks. Thank you very much for visiting our site. An-Seok and George
