We are very often being asked on the air about the reason of using non-local QSL-address.It's a very big problem of all local radio stations.
    We must awfully say that absolutely all $ contributions are being stolen by post officers and we can do nothing with that.We have already put up with it. It's a very difficult job to fight against them,as we are an illegal stations.Even the same conditions for local licensed HAM operators.
    That is why,we need to use QSL-addresses abroad.There is the only station 303SD102 "Said" in Azerbaijan who uses his local address.But it is a very big risk from his side.He asks 2 IRC's for contribution,because our local post officers know nothing about "International Reply Coupon" and sometimes they reach us.But it happens very seldom.By the way,we would like to announce that we are not responsible for QSL-card sent to any azerbaijanian address.We can guarantee reply QSL if it has been sent to the address abroad.
    Let us explain the situation with a contribution system of our local radio stations in Azerbaijan.
    As far as You know all stations from 303 division before were asking $2 for contribution.There were so many FAKE stations working from 50 division as 303 division and many people did not receive their QSL's yet.
    We are asking $1 or 2 IRC's for contribution.We are non-profit club and we do not want to make a business.It cost $0.80 to sent one simple letter by AirMail from Azerbaijan plus our expenses for receiving monthly letters package from "abroad address".Total expenses make about $1.And this is without price of QSL-printing.
    Let us write something about the "International Reply Coupon" in Azerbaijan.Though our country is a member of International Postal Union our Postal Department does not accept IRC as a payment for the letter.So,it is of no use here.Sometimes we sell it abroad as 2 IRC's equal to $1.
    As far as You can see we earn nothing.The contribution "covers" our expenses only.We enjoy our radio contacts only.
    Time to time we receive some letters from stations in Italy and Spain which invite us to use their Management Services.But we want to say that we do not need such help.We do not want to depend on someone and in the same time we would like all our reply QSL cards to be sent directly from 303 division.
