The arts and crafts of the rhymers' trade are none less than those of the dancer or the the artist for when all three of these combine, they can form a truly Beautiful thing, full of life, and harmony The dancer, whose graceful, gliding motions flow so seemingly easily from the enigmatic center of her mind as she dances, moving as if in silent, slow motion, with elegant, skilled beauty adding to the trio the motion and grace for the artists brush strokes as she designs her stunning creations The artist, who expresses herself on the canvas attempting to show the beauty as well as the strangeness of the world around her put into shapes and colors the universe describing what she sees In the brilliant reds and solemn blues that are her trades marks of achievement Both of these together, giving the poet The inspiration to write of the beauty of motion with grace and elegance and of the colors that are part of all things and the poet crafts the words, setting them to show the world around, designing, building Becoming the architect of thought Forging a world of life from a few simple things Letting the mind roam to another place far from reality; Letting the intellect run from logic And bury itself in the strange land of imagination leading it to believe that the impossible can happen That is why, each in their own way, being a master, or an apprentice bard, dancer, or artists is no small, menial, thing To be mocked and ridiculed by those Who only understand logic and cannot fathom the illogical processes of emotion, the fluid grace of life and love of which the poet, dancer, and artist are the most fit to explore | ||||||||||||||||||
