Pagan Parenting

HI there! And welcome to the pagan parenting

page!

I am Kari your host for your visit

to the Pagan Parenting

floor at the MSTN!

Ok now I know you are sitting there wanting

to know why I am your

pagan parent expert advisor

right?  How about I have learned to parent

with a humor and keeping my sanity!

So now on with this weeks article.....

Merry Meet everyone!
Yule is about here, so I thought I'd talk a bit
about things we as parents can do with our kids.
CLEAN HOUSE! We all have to do it, so
how about incorporating a bit a magick into it,
something our kids can do with us? When
cleaning before Solstice, be sure to sweep under
any rugs, and shake out any pillows in
the house. When you empty the dustpan, or
throw out the vacuum cleaner bag, name
some of the things you want to get rid of.
Then, steep some Rosemary and Bay leaves in
hot water and add the scented water to the
pail when you wash your floors, to bring
protection for the new season.

MOTHER WINTER'S HOUSE
How about a new twist on the "Gingerbread" house?
Consider building it as an offering, thinking
of all the gifts of the Goddess you are
grateful for, and choosing candy and colors
and decorations to represent them. The house
then becomes a symbol of all the abundance
we've received from the Mother.....and the
empty space inside can symbolize the unknown
gifts we hope for in the coming year.
