In order to find the spiritual enlightenment you seek and
feel a need to find,
You must trust yourself and your beliefs or you will
forever be bound by your mind.
Do your best to live your life to the fullest and learn
to have no regrets and interfere not in the lives of
your peers,
And whatever you receive in love, life, or heart make
sure you give back in order to maintain balance my dears.
When you cast your magickal circle, do it in the trilogy
of purest of energy, spirit, and love,
And you will be protected from harm of the negative
energies by the deities from below and above.
And when you speak to the deity of your choice,
Make it pleasing with much rhyme in your voice.
Be wary of what you think you see and hear,
Keep an open ear to your guides
and your heart for they will not lead you astray,
And once you have found a need and desire to cast
a spell, hush about the spell otherwise your needs will
be kept at bay.
Clockwise you walk during the waxing moon as you
cast your circle about,
Counter clockwise you walk during the waxing moon
to close your circle and any uncertainties that are
causing clout,
During the new moon is a time of giving thanks and
energy back to the deities you worship,
And the Full moon is a time to call to the Deities
and ask for your secret desires from your own lip.
From the North Quarter will come stability and
security that you may need,
From the West Quarter will come the cycle of birth,
life, and rebirth you should heed,
From the South Quarter will come the love and
stability that all should embrace,
While from the East comes peace of mind and
communication that will come at your pace.
Heed the quarters and pay them gratitude but always
seek what they give,
For they offer these to you to help you survive the
bad times and continue to live.
But a warning to all that you must heed, from
Mother Nature,
Respect what she has given us and to all she has
given a cure,
For otherwise in the blink of an eye or the bat of a lash,
She will revoke all the beauty and will do so in a dash.
And forever throughout our Pagan Years the Wheel of
Life shall turn,
It begins at the time of Yule when the Horned
one lights the log to burn,
And continues through Litha when the Lady and Lord
awash the earth in fertility to breed and love,
And ends with Samhain when we remember our dead
and pay praise to The Lord
and Lady who watch us from above.
And then onto another turning of the wheel to see our
new year and our fate,
And we once again celebrate all of our Sabbats,
Yes We once again see all eight.
Be respectful of our surroundings for it is a gift
from the Lady and the Lord,
And when respected They will bless us with plenty
flowing from their gourd.
And when the truth is needed to the Lady and Lord you
may Cry,
And they will show you in the waters when You
turn to the methods of the Scrye.
And be careful when casting a spell of self gain,
For if it is for greed the 3 fold will not allow gain!
And be careful of your friends who rush and demand,
For their effect will be that of a terribly heavy hand.
Meet in Happiness and leave the same way,
This will you help keep bad Karma at bay.
Do not forget the threefold of what you send out for at
first you may think it?s swell,
But what you get back could be either good or bad
but always the same nature of the spell,
When you are troubled and discord is saturated in your life,
With the Lady and Lord in mind, turn to them in your strife.
When In love be true to yourself and to your heart,
Or your lover will be false to you as well and break your
heart.
And when you remember nothing else of this poem
keep this in your mind?s eye,
Try not to do intentional harm to another?s heart
and life and do try not to pry,
If you can learn to live your life without needing misery
to give your soul to feed,
You have learned the one sacred thing, That would be
The Wiccan?s Rede.
