So what happens to these vehicles when they have taken as much abuse as they can handle ?
Some of them are subjected to more abuse and some are left to the elements and to fend for themselves. Some of the lucky ones are used as donor cars for other projects.
This six cylinder 440 four door hardtop (New Zealand assembled), started life
with a vinyl roof. The owner had the idea that he would install a big block
engine and restore the body to it's former glory, he paid someone to replace
the roof, this fine example of a workman hacked at the roof with a hacksaw then
promptly left the country.
The exterior trim had been removed and the holes filled during a previous "restoration" (repaint).
The trunk floor and the floors inside the car
were rotten.

The Interior was in remarkably good condition
(well the seats anyway).
