On the 26th of April 2000 (my sisters birthday) my little bach (pronounced batch) was uplifted and put on a trailer and moved up the road about 200 metres (yards) and down a long right-of-way.
What an experience, I left all my gear in it , I did take all my stuff off the shelves and moved my big TV and computer out. The housemovers arrived promptly at the arranged time and within ten minites the bach was 4 feet off the ground, WOW.. There was a septic tank underground in front of the bach that the trailer could not go over because of the risk of damage and $10,000 for a new septic tank. this meant that the bach had to be scooted over.
