CONVENIENCE AND SAFETY OPTIONS

FULL-TIME POWER STEERING
Easier, safer. Dodge power steering takes only 3� turns of the steering wheel to go from full left to full right; competitive power steering, up to 5� turns. That's why Dodge steers safer in an emergency. . . cuts down on steering-wheel winding during parking.

Dodge power steering is also full-time power steering - doing four-fifths of the work of steering, 100% of the time. Some competitive power steering provides only part-time help, not full-time.
 

SAFETY SEAT BELTS

Seat-belt anchors are provided in specially reinforced areas of the floor pan. Holes for seat belts are drilled and tapped, then, protected with rubber plugs until ready to be used.

POWER BRAKES
Quicker, easier, safer. Dodge power brakes do two-thirds of the work of braking . . . one-third of the total braking effort must be exerted by the driver. The pedal travel is shorter than with standard brakes�a safety factor if a quick stop is necessary.
 

TINTED GLASS
Reduces glare, reduces eye strain, reduces temperature of car interior in sunshine. Sun's heat rays cut 60% for cooler, more comfortable driving.
 

AUTO-PILOT (Available on 880 models only)
Reduces driving effort . . . eliminates need for holding down the accelerator pedal at highway speeds. Also serves as a speed warning signal in restricted speed zones. Instantly disengages by touching brake pedal. Re-engages when preset speed is reached.
 

POWER WINDOWS
Open windows, close windows at the touch of a button. No need for the driver to reach back or across the car . . . he has a master control so he can operate any window conveniently. Individual controls for other passengers.
