I am a Senior here at Towson State University currently enrolled in the accounting program. I grew up and lived my whole life in the fine state of New Jersey. A litttle bit about my interests and work experience:
Interests:
I like to surf, ski/snowboard, hike/backpack, do things on my jeep, and go biking.
Schooling:
I graduated elementary school from Keyport Central School. I then went on to attend and receive my high school deploma from Saint John Vianney High School in Holmdel. Presently I am working towards my B.S. in Accounting at Towson University located in Towson, Maryland. Following graduation (spring 1998) I will sit for the CPA exam.
Work:
At school I work in the Linthicum computer lab as a Lab Assistant. This has given me a wide knowledge of computer software and Web Programming.
At home I work at Schoor Depalma, Inc. - Engineer and Design Professionals. I work in the accounting department helping out where ever needed with jobs including billing, bank reconciliations, financial statements, account analysis, etc. This has given me the opportunity to learn the more practical side of accounting in the actual work place.
I also work at Feet First - an athletic footwear store. I am what is termed a "Third-Key". I am resposible at times for opening and closing the store as well as week ending paper work. This job has given me a view of the retail part of society, in sales and in basic accounting functions.
I have also gained a vast amount of other work expereince that I am no longer doing (including: a nursing home, a boatyard, a seafood restaurant, and a craft store), but I won't go into all them now.
