The Spectator is the student-run newspaper of the Plenty Campus of Ivanhoe Grammar School, in Melbourne, Australia. It was founded in mid-1997 by Year 12 student Suzanne Hevey, who was the editor for the Spectator's first two issues. It was modelled partly on an old student newspaper from the Ridgeway Campus of Ivanhoe Grammar School, but has taken on a life of its own. It offers articles on school life, reviews on current events and entertainment, student opinions and colorful cartoons and student writing. |
