This page may take a while to load even with the small thumbnails, but if you like 105E's you won't mind THAT much!
Here is the new Anglia 105E project car... Progress is coming along slow but sure. If anyone has spare taillight or front turn siginal lenses,I am in need, so please contact me at the e-mail address below. I recieved a new windshield from a place in Iowa that said they had 8 in stock. It looks great. It had small laminate seperation around the edges, but that will be covered by the rubber holding the window in. It cost me about $200.00 for the glass delivered to my door. E-mail me for more info at [email protected]

I finally finished making the headers. 2 1/4 primarys with 4" collectors. The rest of the exhaust system is in also including the 4" X 16" Borla XR-1 Sportsman mufflers. Now to get the headers sent to Jet Hot to get coated.

Looks a little different now Huh?

Just a different view angle of the above shot.

The engine is all nestled into place. I just recieved the header kit so I will be fabricating a set soon.

This shows how the upper strut mounts are attached to the frame.

Here is a shot of the front motor plate that attaches the engine to the frame. It also shows how the rack is mounted to the frame.

Here is how I made more leg room. The bar that is being pointed to was bent forward on each end to move the bar back aprox. 3" and the 4 link brackets were angle cut on the front side to angle them back to meet the cross bar. I also replaced the poly seats with aluminum seats to give me even more leg room. Anyone need some brand new poly seats with black covers? I am selling them for $100.00 for the pair and they have never been mounted.

I just had to roll it outside after I got it down off the jig. As of this shot, more tubing has been added and the front struts are on. I hope to have a shot of this in the near future

This shot shows how little room there is for suspension in this configuration.

Picture of the rear suspension with the trunk lid removed for clarity. The Koni double adjustable shocks with 80 lb. springs are noticeable in this shot.

This is a shot of the car on the jig with the mock-up engine in place. It is not a very good picture and I hope to have a better one in the future.

Here is the car up on the chassis jig. Some of the lower frame rails are noticeable in this shot.

Is this going to be a narrow rear axle or what?!!!!! The outside edges of the 4 link brackets are 14" apart, and the center section will barely clear the brackets. The housing will carry 33 spline axles, full steel spool, and pinion support from Moser Engineering. The ring and pinion are from Richmond gears and will be 4.56's to begin with and possibly be 4.11's on the nitrous.

This is a shot of the firewall area of the car as the cage is going in. It is fully cross braced, but it is looking like I won't have much leg room. I need to do something about that... Hmmmmmmmm...(See photo 7 pictures up for the update.)

This is a shot of the car as was a while back. This is before I put it up on the jig. It is just resting on some wood blocks to aproximate the ride hight.

Here are the pieces for the 4 link rear suspension. The rear coil overs are not in yet.

This is the "Donor" car from which extra body and trim panels will be taken from. Both cars were bought from the same person. I paid just $150.00 for both cars.

Here is the old engine compartment before I started ripping it apart to install the BBC (Big Block Chevy)motor.

These are the disc brakes for the rear and front. They are produced by Aerospace Components Inc. They are billet 6061-T6 aluminum.

Here is a side shot of the "soon to be" Super Gas 105E in all it's stock glory.

Here is another shot of the other side.

Here are the front struts. They were produced by Art Morrison and have 5 inches of travel with 200 lb. springs for driving around on the streets of Colorado Springs.
