In this section, I will include short descriptions and pictures of what I feel are some of Lamborghini's best cars.
Lamborghini has had a tradition of making some very amazing exotic cars. The Countach is but one example of their wonderful motoring excellence. With an outer shell as thin as a piece of paper (0.5 millimeters) it is also a very expensive car to repair should you get in an accident. This car is very low and rather wide. It boasts a fairly impressive top speed of 160 miles per hour (mph).
The DiabloVT is another example of this fine company's extraordinaire. With a 5.7 liter V-12 displacement engine and a top speed of 201.9 miles per hour, it gives way to no one. Produced in 1993, it is fairly powerful, at 492 Horse-power.
In this section I have placed information and pictures of many of Lamborghini's Prototypes. Becuase of the fact that these cars are prototypes, there is a limited amount of information published.
First, I will mention the Athon prototype. This is a very unique car. It first appeared in an auto show in 1980. It had no roof, and cost so much that Lamborghini could not afford to make it a production car. Only one was built.
Next, I will mention the Cala. This is a pretty recent prototype designed by Giorgio Giugiaro. It is equipped with a 3.9 liter V-10 engine. It's frame is constructed of sophisticated aluminum alloys.
