In this section I have placed pictures of virtually every Espirit that Lotus has made.
First, the basic Espirit. This car is no longer made by Lotus, instead, they now make the Espirit V8. This car is equipped with a mid-mounted Lotus 3.5 litre Dual Overhead Cam engine with hydraulic valve lifters. The V8 delivers 350 horse-power, making it pretty powerful, although not extremely. The Espirit V8 offers great acceleration with 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds. They also offer the V8 Gold
The Espirit 300 Sport is a higher performance midified X180R racer. It is designed for the track. With a 2.2 litre chargecooled engine delivering 300 horse-power, it is actually slightly less powerful than the V8.
The Espirit S4s is a race delevloped version which compares slightly to the 300 Sport. It is powered by a 2.2 litre chargecooled engine with 16 valves. Lotus has also thrown in a rather stunning interior.
The V8 GT is Lotus' racing car. At 900 kg, it is built to cruise. It has an all newly designed 550 bhp V8 engine in it.
