Casualty Reports: Jadesfire - SSD buried in radioactive rubble. Lost half her hostages. Still has half in Mimas core under heavy sensor jamming. Lost her topside creep, and her forces in the core are dying from the itching powder and a real nasty case of hundred-hour-flu. EDA - lost all ground forces, lost half of fighter escort, lost three-quarters of the dropships, sustained damage to Darva's dreadnought, and now accumulating damage on the Interdictor as it is being swarmed. Leroy - lost probots, lost dropship, possibly deceased.

The creep begins to pull back quicker than expected, and soon the surface is devoid of it...tunnels supported by it begin to fail, still open tunnels remain under heavy guard. However, most of the Zerg have retreated to near the core, with the human hostages...while organic solvents get to work on the itching powder menace....

Knowing that at any time his shields are going to collapse and the hull begin to buckel, Duker turns his ship around and heads for the Interdictor like a bat out of hell. He reaches the Interdictor and waits at the side of the big ship for new orders.

*Walks onto the bridge and sees the "Message waiting" light on his armrest blinking. He taps the button beside it and watches the video that everyone else had already seen several times. The video reaches the end where it shows the image of the infested Jadesfire. "Damn, she's hot," says Dark Commie. Both Scorpion and TDK look over at the dark figure.* Does EVERY infested human female arouse your interests? *"Yes." Scorpion readys his super shotgun. "Should I just put him out of our misery?"* No. He's part of the SDA. Besides, you never know when he might come in handy. *"Gee. Thanks for the sentiment. Put me out of YOUR misery, why not put me out of MY misery. At least do me a favor for a change."* Shut up. Helm, take off and re-group with the others.

...Darva's fake hyrdalisks and other fake zerg creatures pull back into the center of the planet with the others, hoping they can pass the inspection. The small LurkerBand recievers in each of them is very useful, as it can tune into the zerg psionic commands, and allow the fake zerg to react properly. Darva waits in his overlord, looking for the proper moment...

"Comm, open a subspace Channel to Chief Engineer Screwloose at Vulcan." "Yes Sir. Channel open." Duker: "Screwloose, how is the new Defiant comming?" Screwloose: "Wer are never going to make the deadline you requested. It is just too big of a task." Duker: "Damn. How much longer is it going to take?" Screwloose: "My best guess is at least 2 months." Duker: "Well that sucks...alright I want you to do something else. Do you have access to the Vulcan military specs?" Screwloose: "Yes, they allowed me to have full access to them if I needed to use any of thier recources. Are you thinking what I think you're thinking?" Duker: "I think so. What kind of battle ships do they have?" Screwloose: "They just got done deloping a secret type of battle ship equiped with a cloaking device, and enought weaopn arrays to satisfy a whole fleet." Duker:" Alright, here is what I want you to do. You access their computer and..."

With a rapidly growing red light and a deep rumbling vibration, the tunneling worm breaks into the outer core of Mimas. At several thousand degrees, the nose of said vehicle will melt through anything, leaving behind a lava tunnel. The entrance, plugged with ice, will hold atmosphere if the worm survives to break into the inner core. Almost before it has emerged, it was under attack. With miles of solid rock seperating the outer from the inner core, zerg pound on the thick armored hide, dying in droves as the worm swings blindly left and right, vaporizing the organic bodies with its white-hot nose. Guided by sonar, it proceeds onwards...

The Zerg fall back, hydralisks, defilers and drones pelting the worm with acid. Suddenly a new threat is evident.....infested mind worms, of Chironian stock. Clumping together in boils, the worms unleash a devastating psi assault on the mind of the woodlouse pilot....

*Skelton #2: "We're coming up on the fleet now, Sir."* Good, get a channel open to sombody, I want to know exactly what's going on here. *Dark Commie: "Sir, eh? Awful lot of respect there. You aren't becoming socially functional on me are you TDK?"* Hell, no! These are machines. They've been programmed to talk like that. *"Oh? And who was it who did the programming?"* Well, it wasn't me. *The Skeleton again: "Channel open. Patching you through to Lord_Woodlouse." Lord_Woodlouse appears on the screen.* Hello Woodlouse. Can you give me an update on the situation? The infestation doesn't look that bad from up here.

The Woodlouse, force user that he is.. tries valiantly to resist the assault... and knows he will not be able to survive. In agony, his mind shredding, he quickly paws at the emergency medical kit.. and gasses himself unconcious. The tunneling worm computer, sensing its controller unconcious, proceeds on autopilot with a pre-programmed contingency. Turning, it begins to orbit the outer core.. from *inside* Mimas, mowing down Zerg by the score.
