Marrissa blinked. Her illogic had been ineffective on Alius, a fellow
teenager...but grabbing a handy phaser, she aimed...

Jadesfire felt the world slow down around her as she made some rapid
calculations...and threw herself into the phaser's line of fire....

Ensign Throwaway flinched as he felt Jadesfire's presence in his
mind dwindle...already half dead, she would not survive another...He urged
himself to think, but his thinking was slowed by the Kids Crew effect....then
an idea!

*DC sat in the shadows and watched. This was the first time anyone
other than Scorpion had run into one of his traps, and now it seemed that
they were effective on psuedo-normal people as well.

*He slowly stepped out of the shadows behind Marissa and snuck up
behind her. The moment he had been waiting for had arrived. Time for the
deadly irritation. There were over a hundred traps on board, she was bound
to spring at least one of them and knowing his recent burst of luck, pehaps
a few more. He snuck up reach out to Marissa's ear ready to flick it and
run, when he tripped. He knocked over the bratty teenager and caused her
to misfire and rip open the duct tape web beside her. DC realising his
sudden predicament bolted upright and ran, trying to find a trap that hadn't
been sprung yet.*

*Cyborg Stan tugged with with left arm. Stuck. Right arm. Stuck.
Legs? Stuck. In times like this, people wish they had an extra set of arms.
As luck would have it, Cyborg not only had an extra set of arms, he had
1.5 extra sets of arms. Well, tenacles anyway. Picking up an unfired crowbar
from the cart, he hacked away at the trap. Freeing himself, he worked on
the Shopping Cart of DOOM!, and calmly walking behind it, pushed it out
of the Bird of Prey. As much as events were interesting around here, he
had even more important things to do.*

*Outside of the Bird of Prey, it is oddly quiet. Everyone else had
fled, or had gone on in the mad chase in the ghaytanHa'. Taking long strides,
and mentally concealing himself from the other psi-talented in the area,
he exits into a corridoor, and searches around a bit. Seeing a downed chrome
spider, he makes his way towards it, pushing the shopping cart all the
while. Opening a panel in his life support, he rips free some wires. It
would become lethal to him if it wasn't fixed but this shouldn't take long.
Gently placing the drained metal archanoid inside the panel, he slowly
allowed a trickle of power to flow into the spider.... after a few minutes,
he felt it twitch inside.* You finally awake? Good, I need to ask a favor
of someone.....

*DC turned another corner and saw an open hallway. If he had his
berings straight he could get to the toothpick machinegun emplacement he
had near the entry ramp and use that against Marissa. He sprinted full
foreward (which wasn't really exceptionally fast in his case, but it would
help keep Marissa's phaser off his back for a while longer) and smashed
face first into a painting of an open hallway he had place on an angled
wall. He bounced off to his right and fell on a bed of dead branches. He
didn't think much of this at first except that it was a soft place to land.
But then Marissa also came crashing into the wall and bonced off on top
of him. DC alone was not very heavy but the combined weight of the two
evil entities was enough to break the braches and open up a hole in the
bed leading into an opened Jefferies tube. The two fell down to the very
base of the ghaytanHa', trying to strangle eachother to death the whole
way, where they were both immediately knocked out.*
