The Story

This is my wonderful wife Betsy's car. It is a 1989 Ford Probe GL. The GL model was the base model Probe in 1989. Her's is a highly optioned GL that started life as an AVIS rent a car. We bought it from a Russian foreign exchange student named Dimitri whom had owned it for the past 2 years. Dimitri had wished to bring the car back to Russia with him when he left the U.S. Saddly, for him at least, it was not to be. The cost of shipping it was far to much. We bought it from him a week before he had to leave for $2,000.00 not bad for a car that blue books at $4,500.00. Why did we buy another car you ask? Well my wife liked it. As you can see it is Red and sporty looking and hey it get's great gas milage and has a realitvly high top end 120 Mile an hour down the Glen Hwy!!!
